A small and cozy, practical, roadside diner. They serve traditional breakfast, omelettes, grilled sandwiches, and dipping specialties such as: Gyros, Pastrami dip, chicken chipotle, and a variety of Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches. I tried the ham omelette, and it was a bit too oily/salty for me. However, the service was exceptional

This is such a delicious lil place and I'm glad I was shown it because I haven't gone a lot of places like I use to and this breakfast was worth it! Located in casa de Oro or otherwise known as spring valley It's kind of a "hidden gem" I'd say, because from the outside I'd have just assume it was a small taco shop...which goes to show you not to judge anything by only the outward appearance!! Inside it's very small space wise but the menu makes up for that!! It's HUGE!!  they have everything under the SUN !! I had the "cheesecake filled something" breakfast which was PHENOMINAL and my husband had the chiliquiles plate. Honestly, you could share a plate cause their HUGE portions but once a week won't kill ya!! We went around 8am so it's definitely open early on a Saturday as well. There is a cool vibe seating outside that gave it a "lil restaurant feel" and that was definitely the best part of my day. 5/27/22 Trust that! I guess truly my only complaint if any was the parking and the inside so small I would always have to sit outside or take it to go. I know he did not like the hash browns but only cause their very soft. I was "em"-pressed though!!

This used to be our families favorite deli in Casa De Oro! Sandwiches were always good! Ever since the new owners took over the food has literally turned to trash! It’s sad that I even have to write this review. I’m not a big review guy but after paying $40, I felt straight ripped off this last time. All of our sandwiches came with wet bread. They didn’t toast any of the bread and the meat was terrible. The potato salad looked like watery dog food. It was absolutely unacceptable. The old sunrise deli is gone. More like Bum Rise Deli now. Go eat somewhere else and save your money.

The food here is delicious and staff are super friendly. I love all the unique sandwiches like New Jersey Devil. They make a good cheesesteak too. Chilequiles Popeyes is great! The portions are huge so be prepared to share or have leftovers.

Food is okay. This place is definitely lacking service 3 orders of Chilaquiles and 1 eggs Benedict took +1 hour. We were not warned ahead of time or notified that the kitchen was short staffed. Even after all that the food was mediocre at best. I did hear this place was good at one point, but looks like new management is ruining things.

Great little deli! They have good food at a reasonable price. I got the roasted beef and Swiss, it came with several choices of sides "I got the pasta salad" I will definitely be coming back here.  They also serve breakfast and dinner. I can't wait to try there breakfast menu, it looks delicious.

You won't go hungry here. The quality of the food is great and they have friendly service.  I consider this place a hidden gem for the hungry man in East County.

So, I was craving a sandwich, and this place was rated a top place in the area. It's definitely a small nit spot. Food is pretty good, definitely has that deli, east coast, community, city, corner street vibe. I got the Boston Beef Special. It wasn't bad. The coleslaw was a little over empowering though. The menu is pretty big, with a wide selection to choose from. It was pretty busy, when I was there. Seats were definitely taken up. But, customer service was really nice. They took the time to service the tables right away, so people could sit. Parking is a bit of a pain though. Small lot, with that city congested vibe to it. Lol. I gave this place 4 stars, probably because it was hot and I was irritable. Lol.

Happily surprised with this place. Friendly staff Jaime was ever so patient with us. Being our first visit here it took us a bit of time to look over the large menu. Settled for breakfast Country fried steak wife got Bacon eggs and hash browns. Great choices food was great. Large helpings so hope you’re hungry. Nice outdoor patio area. Will definitely be back here in the future. Thanks for sharing your lovely deli

Habanero burger was exactly what I was craving. They are really generous with the fries . No drive through.
