Story

On the west shore of Lac Vieux Desert in the Nicolet and adjacent to the Ottawa National Forest. Family recreational resort. American Plan and housekeeping. Daily and weekly rentals. 3 and 5 day packages. 24 units with 1 - 7 bedrooms. Supervised kids activities in summer. Tennis, basketball, volleyball, biking, softball, mini golf and more. Public dining. Boats, motors, pontoons, canoes and kayaks available. All units have central heat and air conditioning. Cable TV, VCR / DVD players, and fireplaces in all units. Free high speed internet. Pets welcome.

Three meals served daily from early May - late October. Breakfast served on weekends all year.

Sunrise Lodge is a wonderful place to go. They have individual cabins, all heated for winter, air conditioned for summer, exceptionally clean. Great food in the lodge. Meal plans, we always do the American Plan, if you want or not. Staff is wonderful. Family owned and operated for almost 50 years. They have great options for all ages of kids. Art, fishing contests, softball, volleyball, basketball, and more. We come here one week every fall, sometimes a week in the spring, and this year our whole family is coming up for a week at Christmas. Best place to vacation at.

Wonderful place that's been family run for around 50 years. The cabins/houses are  nice and clean and very comfortable. Perfect place for a fall getaway. Great food and service at the main lodge as well.

Stayed here 12 years ago for a week during a family reunion of 30... It was a blast and very memorable, even if I was only 20. Lots of laughs and great family time to be had here

Most beautiful, relaxing, & quite place during the fall! Loving it here! Permanent vacation spot!

This is a very quiet, but awesome resort! Great for a getaway, or for a vacation. They have bikes just sitting around for transportation around the resort, and boats for use.
