I came here from Los Angeles with my team for a work retreat and it was AMAZING!  It was a perfect environment to come together as a team and get work done, connect and explore the natural beauty of the area.   While we were here we explored the walking paths, did yoga at the local library, went mountain bike riding at Winman bike trails and went boating on the lake. The cabins met all of our needs. They were full stocked with all the necessary kitchen items and they were quaint but spacious enough for 4 of us to comfortably stay for the week. It's no wonder that the resort is named Sunrise....perhaps the most spectacular sunrise I have seen. I will absolutely be returning with my family to take even more advantage of all that Sunrise has to offer.

We made the trip up for the 1st time this summer, it was well worth it. 7 days of being unplugged and the ability to let out kids run free without fear of cars and traffic was amazing. Water sports, sand bar, camp fires, this place has it all. Highly recommend. Ownership genuinely cares about the experience you have.

Our stay at the Sunrise Resort was above and beyond expectations.  Our rustic cabin was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.  I loved the northwoods feel it had.  We met the owners while we were there and they were super friendly and laid back.  Not too far from small nearby towns with restaurants, bars, etc.  Great all around experience.  We will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay at Sunrise Resort!! Spent a week there for a work retreat and it was a great mix of business and northwoods adventure. Plenty of hiking, biking, kayaking and yoga. Cabins are cozy with great views of the crystal clear lake. Rec room and outdoor grounds made nice places to relax and meet. Overall, highly recommend for work meetings or family vacations.

Simply an awesome place. Super great honest owners, great lodging and amenities. Makes you feel like home away from home. Love this place! Will be back again.
