Great place to stay even if the rooms are a bit older.  Don't expect convenience outlets everywhere you need them, but there was enough for us to make it work.  We stayed in the smallest single bed room without a kitchen, but there was enough room. There was a fridge AND a microwave (which was nice).  There was also a table with two chairs rather than a desk, which we prefer since it'll work for a laptop but we also play board games and your typical hotel desk doesn't work well for that.  View is awesome and you're able to park right in front of your room (super convenient).  We would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone needing to stay in the area.  Oh, and the Wifi is at least 100Mb down. 👍

Beautiful views! Waterfront. Lovely clean updated rooms with air conditioning. Full kitchen in our room. Two bedrooms with queen beds. Free WiFi. Floor level with parking at door and Pet-friendly! Looking forward to coming back and we haven't even left yet!

The sunset motel was absolutely wonderful.  We had a kitchenette. We were on lake Superior. We went in picture rocks cruise, which is just down the road. The price was great.  I would definitely come again. Teresa from Minocqua WI

Million dollar view of Lake Superior!  Very quaint with a vintage feel.  The room is serviceable with a comfortable bed.  Outside seating area where you can grill your own dinner if you like.

Clean and in a nice location. Beautiful views of the lake. Nothing fancy, but good rooms with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. There was a nice sitting area by the lake and a charcoal grill available. Better than many UP motels.
