A hidden place with treasures for vegans and non-vegans. We are vegan, and we found so many options from cookies and bars to caramels for us. Everything tasted amazing and had just the perfect amount of sweetness. The owner was very nice and helpful. She said that they would make vegan cakes, pies, and cupcakes if we pre-ordered. Maybe we will do just that on our next trip to Glenwood Springs.

Sarah and her team are amazing! We were referred to the bakery through Hotel Colorado for our wedding. Sarah was extremely  helpful as we communicated over email about what we wanted for our wedding cake. Do to COVID, we were able to pick 3 different cupcakes to taste and all of them were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Lemon with Lemon filling or raspberry filling. They are a little pricy BUT it's 100% worth it. I am very satisfied.  Prior to our wedding day I was able to drop off some fresh flowers and wood cookies to use to help decorate our cake. It came out beautiful and tasted fantastic. Our wedding guests had nothing but wonderful complements to share.

This place is small but they have a lot of options. My girlfriend has a dairy allergy and we found these guys. They have stuff that doesn't even taste like it's dairy free. Really rich without being over sweet to make up for being vegan. They were really helpful and we left with a lot. The mint brownie bar and peanut butter brownie bar were so good. You couldn't tell the difference between regular and these that were vegan and gluten free. Not grainy at all! The cookies are soft but have some of that gluten free texture but the flavor really makes up for it.

This does not look like a place where you stop in and buy straight from a case. Stop by and check it out because they have a HUGE selection of gluten-free sweets and a fair amount of vegan options. The vegan options are gluten free. They have really good stuff. They’re super helpful and willing to accommodate allergies of all kinds if you order ahead. If you’re from out of town and looking for treats that cater to your allergies then definitely check them out.

I’d like to start this off with honesty, which is, by mistake our cake didn’t get made.  Why am I writing a 5 star review? Because good customer service WILL ALWAYS mean something.  After realizing at 4:30pm that we weren’t going to have a cake for our birthday celebration, the owner quickly started trying to find solutions. We ended on some decorative cupcakes, and she even went as far as to deliver them to where we were eating dinner.  Did we get the cake we wanted? No. Did she do everything in her power to make her customer happy? Yes. I will appreciate that kind of service any day.

My friends and I were visiting Glenwood Springs for our first annual Friendsgiving Vacation. We rented a cabin up near Sunlight with a full kitchen so that we could throw down some Thanksgiving dinner. In preparation for that epic meal we discussed all that we'd make but we decided that instead of making desserts, we should check out a local bakery and indulge in some goodies while lending our patronage to a local business. We looked up a lot of businesses and decided on Sunshine & Moons.  We were wanting a pie but we didn't realize that they were made to order. The friendly staff at Sunshine and Moons were very happy to accommodate our accidental last minute request and in doing so saved Thanksgiving. We went out for a day of romping around at Hanging Lake and when we returned, they had our Pecan Pie waiting for us in all of it's sweet glory. What made that even nicer is that we had taken a lot longer than we had anticipated on the hike and they had to stay a little past closing time to get us our pie--they were happy to accommodate and didn't make us feel like jerks in the process. We also bought a bunch of other sundry goodies from them that we thoroughly enjoyed on the long trip back to Cañon City.  We definitely endorse Sunshine and Moons for all of your sweet tooth cravings. You won't be disappointed by the quality and great service. Glad we could support a Glenwood Springs local business. If we return, we'll be getting some more goodies! Thanks again!

I called yesterday to ask some questions about ordering a wedding cake/ cupcakes for my wedding next June. The  woman who answered the phone was extremely rude, loud and refused to let me ask questions. She acted like she didn’t even want my business. After a few attempts to talk I just hung up. Too bad!

Every time I've eaten something from Sarah Neibler and Sunshine and Moons Bakery, it has been delicious! My husband and I got married a few weeks ago, and Sarah made our wedding cake and cupcakes. They were all delicious, the presentation was lovely, and our guests were delighted with the delicious options. We appreciate that Sarah offers vegan and gluten free options as well as kid cupcakes. We enjoyed our cake tasting with her to decide on our cake flavors, and her enthusiasm and spunk! If you haven't tried something yet from Sunshine and Moons, do!!! We certainly will order from Sarah again. Thank you!!!

SO GOOD. We stumbled upon this place & everything we ordered was amazing. So many cookies, chocolates & delicious treats. Organic & gluten free options! Also our dog loved their homemade dog treats!
