They are remodeling, I believe, so the rooms have items missing or reshuffled. Convenient location practically sharing a parking lot with 2 fast food places and a gas station. Free breakfast was lacking, but they do offer room service (outsourced delivery). The night time manager walks the premises regularly for safety, which was a pleasant surprise. They recently became completely non-smoking.

I wanted a hotel close to the Clearwater airport for a short stay for business. Super8 was in a great location with many local resources for food, gasoline and more. Although an older hotel it is being updated and has nice new granite showers and bathroom amenities. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. A nice touch was the TV, Fridge, Microwave and small coffee maker in your room. A safe was also available for valuables. The pool was large and clean. Its a "non-smoking hotel" with 3 stories which will allow small pets on the first floor rooms only. A continental breakfast was available with a variety of cereals, banana's cinnamon rolls, milk, coffee and juice. A computer and printer were available. The front desk even printed out my boarding passes for my flight home. Overall I was offered a great value at a very low off season cost. It was exactly what I expected and a little more. A great value for the business traveler on a budget. Thanks to Devin the manager for his good service.

I would never stay at this hotel again. I stayed in it because it is close to the airport. Just needed one night. The room smelled like ols smoke or mildew. The mattress was soiled and the pillows were useless. I checked for bed bugs, but found none. I did not feel the room was clean enough to shower. In the morning when I turned the lights on ...there were cockroaches. This hotel needs a complete makeover. Yuck

Horrible!!! bed bugs! bed bugs! bed bugs!  Made the reservations at 4:30 p.m. August 1st checked in about 10:30 p.m. I get into the room the TV does not work due to faulty wiring. The wifi does not work. At about 12:30 a.m. a dog starts barking for about 30 minutes.... and of course the grand finale, I wake up  at 2 a.m. because my feet were on fire,  it felt as if I was bitten by something... I shot out of bed, uncovered the blankets come to find at least three bed bugs that I killed myself... so in my underwear I have to run down to the lobby. A kid by the name of David could give two s**** about it, no help whatsoever. At 2:30 a.m. I'm checking next door at Red Roof Inn. The following morning I came to see the general manager by the name of Sean. I was outraged and told him the story of what happened. He could give two s**** about it as well so another words excellent customer. He nearly implied that I brought the bed bugs with me.  This is the first time that's something like this ever happened to me.. hopefully it won't happen to you. Stay away from the s*** hole.

If I could give it a zero I would. Worst place I've ever stayed in on vacation. Barely any food for breakfast, the rooms stink, the linen was itchy and they only came to clean the room early in the morning, so if you were still in the room, it never got cleaned. The only positive experience was that staff were friendly and the coffee good.
