WELCOME The Super 8 of Goodyear IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AND IS UNDERGOING A HUGE RENOVATION TO BETTER OUR GUESTS EXPERIENCE WE APOLOGIZE OUR POOL AND SPA ARE TEMPORARY CLOSED DUE TO RENOVATION we are located on the western edge of Phoenix, AZ. Price was okay for last-minute purchase although I could have bought cheaper on Priceline or one of the apps out there but the room was okay there are stains on both the chairs the room smelled like kind of like tuna hallways were extremely hot the AC took a while to cool the room off showers were markup and stained but the water pressure the cleanliness of it was great the toilet seat lid was loose the TV was kind of small for nowadays but it worked and slept most of the time anyway there was breakfast provided waffles pastries coffee cereal milk stuff like that staff was friendly pools open but only for about 5 minutes cuz as we got there kind of late jacuzzi was being remodeled my only recommendation is use stain remover repair minor easy fixable things like the toilet seat and use deodorizers and on another note why is it that when you book into a hotel but you don't have a 24 hour window how you can get there at 3 a.m. in the morning but still have to check out at 11 a.m. and pay the same but still have to check out at 11 a.m. and pay the same price at least prorate it

Overnight manager was very nice. Room was okay, but could've used a few more accessible outlets.

This hotel was conveniently close to the freeway, which was a plus. However, the room itself was somewhat cramped and had an odd smell to it, as though it used to be a smoking room (but currently non-smoking). The breakfast was basic (e.g., cereal, toast, waffle maker) and okay for a short stay. Overall the hotel had an old feel to it and looked like it hadn't been updated for several decades. It also struck me that the exterior side doors to the hotel did not have locks and did not require a key swipe.

Just recently stayed there this last week. Very impressed staff was kind and helpful. Owner was a great guy. Owner also let us have our family gathering right there at hotel. Since our vehicle broke down while we where down there. My kids loved the pool I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Also will be staying there again when we come back to Arizona.

People are nice, beds are comfortable,  and the rooms are clean.  Breakfast could be better and need more electrical outlets.  Nice overall.
