This is literally the only Hotel / Motel I stay at in Lake Charles. No it's not one of the big luxurious casino hotels. By the same token it doesn't carry they're luxurious price tag. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are always clean, ( and I know clean, I own a commercial cleaning company!) Not to mention the free breakfast, is so encompassing you should be charged for it! What more do you need? Soft bed free WiFi great free breakfast in a friendly staff. I stay here roughly two nights a week, every week!

Last time we stayed here it was a pleasant experience.  This time there was a moldy carpet smell, not just in our room but throughout the whole right wing.  The bed was clean but not too comfy.  The front staff hit on my husband LOL..  It wasn’t horrible, I didn’t see any bugs, but I do feel $85 was a little high for one night.  This is more of a $60 place.

Clean room. Friendly helpful staff. Free breakfast. Not just cereal and toast either. Eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy and waffles.

It was alright. Restrooms could be better. There were no sliding curtains. I like to darken the room. The light from the outside of the street was coming in so I didn't get much sleep.

Great Chain. This hotel was acceptable because it was built from the ground up. Some of the hotels are "take over" locations that were other brands before Super 8 bought them. So, the rooms might not be as acceptable. I love the enclosed entrances that give added security -- always a plus in today's social environment.
