Super 8 Lake Jackson/Clute is located off HWY 332 and only 45 minutes south of Houston, the Brazosport area is comprised of 9 cities: Brazoria, Lake Jackson, Clute, Jones Creek, Freeport,, Oyster Creek, Quintana, Richwood, and Surfside Beach. Brazosport area is a favorite tourist area with 44 miles of sandy beaches home of deep sea fishing and competitions. Our beautiful hotel is within minutes of BASF, Dow Chemical, Shintech, Brazosport Regional Health System, and Port of Freeport. The annual Freeport Audubon Christmas Bird Count and the Spring Migration Celebration of birds on the central flyway, is a must see. Mosquito Festival is held the end of July each year and brings many Concerts, Food, Carnival Rides, Activities, and Entertainment. You can also enjoy Sea Center Texas, a world class marine development, aquarium and educational center. You can also explore Mammoth Lake Dive Park, a unique dive spot featuring sunken planes. Sport divers can catch a glimpse of a wide array of fish including manta rays, hammerhead sharks, eagle rays, dolphins, and sea horses.

Reasonable rates and generally clean. Could definitely use some updates. Bathroom door would not close in one of our rooms. Swimming pool was very clean but ladder to get out of pool was in the deep end. We definitely enjoyed our stay. Staff was VERY FRIENDLY and rooms were ice cold!

Very clean and very helpful and sweet, sweet front desk lady. Poor woman had her hands full with all us West Columbia/Brazoria County evacuees and never lost her smile, patience, or humor. Thank You💜💜💜

Our room was well kept, nice and clean. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Thank you for such a pleasant stay! Reasonably priced and would recommend to others.

My stay at the Super 8 Motel in Lake Jackson was exceptional and a  great place to stay. The management is very friendly including the whole staff. The rooms are nice and clean and COOL. Very quite with a nice enormous pool. I recommend this place for the experience and price.

This place is old, run down and in need of a serious remodeling (or perhaps just tear it down and rebuild?). There were baby roaches in the room, the ceiling was falling down in the shower, the bathroom vent was filthy, and the AC filter was absolutely disgusting. The beds...omg...the mattresses were so dilapidated that my wife and I couldn't even sleep on opposite sides, we just kept rolling into each other in the center. The beds weren't even made up with fitted sheets, just a regular flat-sheet on the bottom (it was too narrow as well, looked like a twin-sized sheet on the full sized bed...) that moved under me in the night causing me to be lying directly on the mattress...gross. If not for the fact that it was so late, we were dead tired, and I just wasn't feeling trying to get everyone back in the car to go somewhere else, we definitely would have gone to another hotel. There were no vending/drink machines anywhere on the property and I dared not ask for ice. The hotel is easily accessible from the highway and the lady that checked me in at the front desk was pleasant and jovial, but that's where the good ends. In summary, if you're broke, don't care about asthetics (such as sheets that cover the mattress, or holes in the ceiling), then give it a go, but, if you want a nice experience and a clean room, I suggest you look elsewhere for a room.
