Hubby and I was pleasantly pleased with this hotel. Being as picky as we both are, we found the staff (Judy and Jean) very nice, helpful and knew a lot of the area. Our single room was very nice, clean, although we found the heating unit to be a bit noisy at first start up. Bed and pillows were so so comfortable. Best sleep we've had in days! Wonderful breakfast and room service was fast. Definitely will make this a spot to stay.

A fine and acceptable place to stay overnight when traveling on a budget, and you don't plan to spend much time on your rooms. I visited the hotel after a strenuous day long 20 mile hike at the nearby Lake Wappapello State Park, and I needed a simple accommodation to rest my weary self. When you are exhausted, your standards aren't exactly high, but there was never anything I felt I was missing during my stay. The small room had a comfortable queen bed, looked clean, had adjustable temperature, mini fridge, microwave, and single cup coffee maker. I believe there would be enough room for two. Taking a hot shower after spending the day outside in the cold was something I really looked forward to, and the bathroom did not disappoint. A hot breakfast is served in the morning, which adds even more value. It's not the most spectacular food, but it certainly provides sustenance and it doesn't taste terrible. The lady at the front desk was helpful and nice, and offered me a sugar cookie when I checked in. While this isn't the most luxurious nor modern looking place, I would stay here again if the value remained the same

They offer free breakfast. Clean rooms and Very hot bath/shower water. Our room even had a reclining chair. Very comfortable when you been on the road driving for hours.

The room is always clean with large t.v. including HBO., a refrigerator and microwave. The staff is extremely courteous. Free breakfast in the morning with waffles, assorted cereals, juices, eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy. Coffee in the room and on the buffet. Certainly well worth staying there
