This place had a great location, I liked the location a lot. The place itself needs a lot of work. The place has been neglected. There was so much wrong I can't bring myself to list it all. Mind you, it wasn't like the place was filthy it just wasn't clean. Doors didn't open or close right, plumbing was iffy, there was an odor of smoke in the lobby and in general the place felt damp and sticky. Some of the staff were not overly helpful or friendly, but on the other hand some of them were. I think my brother in law said it best, "This is the most run down Super 8 that I've stayed at." But it was almost half the price of the other motel and it was only two nights so for the money savings we stayed at the swamp. We just didn't know it was a swamp when we booked it.  If I had it to do over again we'd still probably go with the savings.

Got a smoking room instead of non-smoking. The shower curtain rod was literally falling down. The blankets had holes in them. The room curtains were unattached on one end. It was dirty. But it was a convenient location.

Room smells badly of mildew. Front desk told me I was imagining it. Bugs flying around the drain Upon Our check-in. Front desk told me I must have let them in even though we'd only been there 20 minutes. Sheets were dirty and front desk told us they were out of sheets to change them. Vending machine took my money without registering I had put anything in and front desk basically just said "too bad". Every single jet in the hot tub is broken causing it to violently throw water all over the place. Conceal a footprint in the settelef dirt upon entering the hot tub. Mold on the bedspread, mold above the shower. Wish I could rate it lower

The rooms was okay, a little damp do to humidity. The toliet in the bathroom did not work super great. If you want just a bedroom for a decent price and are not planning on showering the next day for whatever reason it is an okay place to stay.

Works in a pinch but I won't plan on staying here again. Rooms are grimy, small and it's a wood frame structure (unlike other hotels that are concrete) so we heard everything and it sounded like lumberjacks had the room above us.  Lady at the desk seemed like it was the hardest thing she could do to be polite when we checked in, definitely doesn't like her job. Had to ask for extra towel and wash cloth since they only stocked a deluxe double room with three when it's meant to sleep 4.
