We had a great experience at Supperland. The establishment is a renovated church which now is a restaurant with lots of charm. The food was decadent and delicious. We appreciated the elevated service, as they not only had food stations, but also had staff walking around with trays of oysters, shrimp cocktail, and cinnamon buns. It was lovely to end our time there with a hot moist towel that was served on a platter for us to use on our hands. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Our hostess, Katie spent some time with us, as we had mentioned that we were new guests. The brunch is $65 plus a 20% gratuity and taxes. We paid separately for our sweet tea. On street parking is available around the facility. Definitely a place for a special occasion. We will surely return with friends. Thank you.
Our first time here, so many people have recommended this place. We don't like to eat big meals so we sat at the bar that is separate from the main dining area. We shared some small plates like Brussels sprouts, sausage gravy croquettes and a puff pastry. Everything came out in a timely manner, nice portions and delicious. We sat at the bar and got cocktails, we loved watching the mixologist with their mad skills, preparing our drinks. Roger and Zach were our main servers, but plenty of others took care of us. They were super friendly and made us feel welcomed. I appreciated Jon GM coming over to check on our experience. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. Parking: Street parking in Plaza Midwood is a challenge. We recommend ride sharing or walk there.
This was it!!! I so enjoyed myself because nothing was left undone. Attention to detail, very clean, the ambiance of this place and the food was exceptional! All the staff love their job and it shows from their service. This is a jewel of a place. Just go and pick anything and wait to be surprised by the taste of it. I can’t wait to come back…
Went here to celebrate an anniversary dinner. The inside of the building is beautifully decorated, and we enjoyed looking at the open kitchen. Southern cuisine is not typically our first pick when dining out, but I am so glad this place proved me wrong. Every item we had was fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed the fact that they use local ingredients. The service was also wonderful. We started with the sausage gravy croquettes and the gem lettuce salad. The salad was outstanding and a large portion for 2 people. The croquettes were rich, and we enjoyed every last bite. For our entree, we shared the prime ribeye, Brussels, and mushroom risotto. The wood fired flavor came through in every bite. Risotto was out of this world and filled with mushrooms. Cook on the steak was perfect. We brought home blackberry lime pie and they did serve us two small honey tarts for our anniversary. Both were delicious. Note that this is family style servings, so it would be great to go with a crowd to try multiple dishes. Due to the space, the tables are in close quarters. It didn't impact our evening. However, if you're hoping to have a private conversation, just note the tables are pretty close together. One piece of feedback is that the chairs were very uncomfortable personal preference perhaps and did take away from a little bit of the otherwise perfect evening. On street parking, plan to arrive a little early.
Now offering dinner service on the patio! The tables aren't covered but it's fairly shady during that time of day. We had the wagyu pot roast, mac, and local tomato and peach salad. The salad was very tasty and fresh but the portion was small. The pot roast was a bit salty and I was hoping for more flavor from the miso mac but overall they were good. These are large, family style servings, and we ended up taking leftovers home. Definitely get the lemon blueberry pie for dessert.
Phenomenal food and cocktails. We sat at the bar in the building next to the main dining room. I started off with a Femme Fatale Cocktail and after dinner I had Cuke & Chamomile G&T. We split starters and appetizers. The Baked Brie Bites amazing, Sausage Gravy Croquettes amazing and Wood-Oven Brussels amazing. Zach our bartender rocked. He helped Jo pick a cocktail she would like. She got the Feature Cocktail, Karma Cocktail. The she got Watermelon & Absinthe Frappe. John the GM stopped by to see how our food was. The place filled up fast. Glad we got here early. There is a speakeasy downstairs for special events that require reservations. We had a great time.
Had a cocktail tasting party in the speakeasy. Absolutely a must do! 4 courses of amazing crafted cocktails with a unique food pairing. These are NOT your ordinary cocktails. Tins of time and energy go into the creation of these cocktails from their master mixologist.Food: 5/5
This is a review of our overall experience after eating at Supperland twice in a weekend. It was our first time at Supperland. I mistakenly made a reservation for Saturday instead of Friday so when we showed up we had no reservation. But we were able to head over to the Bar at Supperland and we had a fantastic time and found a new favorite place. Matthew, Sydney, and Roger were all amazing. The conversation, the drinks, and the food they have the full Supperland menu made this an unforgettable experience. We will for sure be back.
We came here for the Branzino but they were sold out! We were NOT disappointed with the back up options we chose. The menu is family-style; the portions are for about 2 hungry people to share. We ordered the soft crab appetizer to share. My sister had the Pot Roast and I ordered the Roasted Poulet Rouge. We shared one order of the Mac and cheese and Brussels. The Soft Crab appetizer was well-balanced: the crab batter had a nice crunch to it however it was a tad salty for my taste. THE GREEN SAUCE WAS DELICIOUS! The Pot Roast was good and tender and flavorful. The pickled veggies complimented the beef very well! It came in a pot with a top that the server removed at the table— it’s a whole experience! The chicken was moist and flavorful. I loved the Lima beans and what tasted like a salsa! It’s a generous helping and, with sides, could be shareable. The Mac and cheese was different and good but not your traditional Mac. The Brussel sprouts were AMAZING! A must-order! We don’t order a dessert but they brought out homemade cookies for my sister’s birthday! Janel, our server, was kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu! She explained that they only order a set number of items per day so if you want your favorites you should make an early reservation. Ours was at 8:45 pm on a Thursday. We will definitely be back! And we will make an early reservation to ensure we get to try to branzino!
My husband and I went for his birthday and had the all you can eat brunch! It was delicious and had plenty of options to choose from. All of the servers were lovely and attentive. The Pims cup drink was delicious, so was the mimosas and bloody Mary’s !Food: 5/5
