Nice restaurant with good food and customer service! I came in about 45 mins before closing and was welcomed warmly! I ordered hot Korean tea and the spicy pork belly dinner. The tea was hot and properly brewed and the main course came out sizzling and fresh! The pork belly was thinly sliced, spiced just right and tasted great. I enjoyed all the six assorted side dishes and rice that accompanied the meal. Overall I was quite impressed and I will be back to enjoy another meal.
Our family enjoyed the food at this restaurant! We tried the bibimbap, a bulgogi box, and a teriyaki chicken box. The kimchi and bulgogi were a little mild in flavor, but everything else was yummy! The tempura shrimp and veggies was awesome! We can't wait to go again and try other dishes! Service and atmosphere was very good, as well.
FANTASTIC!!! I'll be honest, I wasn't sure about having Korean in the middle of Oklahoma especially being raised in Southern California and now living in New Jersey, but the reviews were good, so what the hell. I ordered the spicy pork belly with a side of kimchi stew. Not only was it a generous portion of food, it tasted great as well. Reasonably priced compared to the other Korean spots in town. I don't know if I'll ever be in Lawton again, but if I am, will definitely come back to Sura.
The jjampong is so delicious, the soup is very flavorful and perfectly spicy! The owner was also very sweet and friendly. Definitely worth checking out!
HANDS DOWN THE BEST KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LAWTON!! We have been here at least once every couple of weeks for the past year and we have NEVER had a bad experience! They make the best Korean food and the service is good as well. The restaurant is clean, excellent food and great service. We've tried the others around town and they are all either lacking in their quality of the food, poor service or you turn around and do not even want to eat there because of other things. You will not be disappointed in SURA!!
10 out of 10! More food than we could possibly finish and everything was amazing! Every single side dish was 10 out of 10. Noodles are handmade also, and the people there are soo nice!! We will be back a lot!! Best restaurant experience in a long time!! We loved it!!
Best Korean food in lawton. I go here regularly and when family comes to visit we always go here. The food is always cooked to perfection, properly seasoned, and consistent. I'll admit the store from the outside looks less than appealing however just sit down and order something you will not be disappointed.Food: 5/5
This is our third or fourth time trying to find a good Korean Restaurant. And in my opinion we have! It’s been a journey because I didn’t care for any of the foods. But at Sura Korean Restaurant, 1707 NW Sheridan Rd, EVERYTHING was fantastic. I don’t know the names of the little bowls that come with your order but they were absolutely the best. I had the Beef Bulgogi Rice Hotpot. And then started gobbling up the small dishes that came with my husband’s order. OMGEE! Sooooo yummy. We also had egg rolls and these were not the frozen kind. These were handmade. My husband had a Kimchi pancake. Holy cow it was good. The owners are husband and wife. The husband has been a chef for about 35 yrs. The restaurant is located on the east side of NW Sheridan Rd. and have been in business for6 months and two weeks. Please go and try their cuisine. I think you’ll be very happy!
We ordered take-out. We really enjoyed it all. The portions and taste were perfect!! I'd like to visit more often. Their pork tansuyuk was the star of the show.
Upon entering I was transported back to a Korean Restaurant in Seoul. I recalled my Hangul and greeted the hostess and immediately struck up conversation inquiring where in Korea she was from. The answer delighted me as I then knew we were in for authentic Korean cuisine. Vegetarian options: Several dishes are made with vegetables. Ask the hostess for options Parking: Parking is directly in front of the establishment with additional options available.
