I absolutely love this gym.  The trainers are enthusiastic, caring and are extremely well versed in all aspects of fitness, making each gym session educational and exciting.  They utilize different exercise strategies so that no two classes are the same.  The variety of workouts are great for keeping the interest of the clients.  I've thoroughly enjoyed every class I've taken and cannot wait to see the long term results.  I highly recommend trying this gym out for a week or two, you will be hooked!

Really great gym, the trainers are truly invested in your progress and existing members are friendly and fun to work out with! I've been going for a little over 3 weeks and can already see results. If you're willing to do the work, James and his team will get you to your fitness goal! They keep you accountable and consistently push you to be better than you were yesterday. So glad I found them!

James and the staff at Survival of the Fittest, are hands down the VERY best in LA. Classes are kept to a good and reasonable size, and packing them out for a profit is not what you will find here (like other gyms). James bases all of his programs on solid scientific research, and his nutrition plans are phenomenal as well. The best part about SOF is that they genuinely care about every client. James will take an active interest in your life, health, family and success. I’m in the best shape of my life, and I owe it to James and everyone at SOF. Do yourself a favor and stop wasting your time with gyms that only want your money. Go for the best and you’ll achieve your best!

SOF is the REAL DEAL!!! The trainers are certified and really understand how to help me reach my goals.  I Love the family atmosphere, the people and the professionalism.  Most of all, I have sooooooo much fun with these people (even though it's hard work). 😊 The facilities are clean and the owner really has a heart to see everyone enjoy their fitness experience. I LOVE IT!!!!

I started working out with James as a complete beginner, feeling completely demotivated and unhappy with my health/fitness and intimidated at the thought of embarrassing myself at the gym. But James really helped me through those first couple of classes, providing excellent support and knowledge as I started my journey. I've been thrilled with my progress and look forward to my gym days. SOF lives up to the hype - some of the best money I've ever spent.
