I come down to the Gig Harbor office once a week and this week our office got a special treat from Susanne's Bakery! No words can describe the amazing, succulent, savory muffins! From what I heard, this shop lovingly crafts their pastries by hand and you get nothing but the best ingredients and quality. Don't pass Susanne's Bakery by, stop by and get yourself a mouth-watering treat.

This review for egg salad sandwich only.
When I recently ordered an egg salad sandwich, I was informed it came on wheat bread only. Yuk. I asked to have white bread and after a discussion, was reluctantly 'allowed' to change breads to sourdough. My sandwich arrived promptly and included a pesto  pasta side. A dill pickle on the side would have been much better.  My first impression of the egg salad was that it came from a blender or was scooped from a commercial food supplier bucket. A scoop was plopped in the center of the sandwitch. Not spread,  just a puree blob.
I recommend anyone pass on the egg salad sandwich. Other items may be much better.

Scones are amazing. 100% recommend. I'm not sure how well trained the barista is at making coffee. From someone who makes coffee for a living, it was okay.

This is the hidden gem of Gig Harbor. They have the best baked goods and sandwiches in the world. I would suggest the salami sandwich with a side of pesto pasta for anyone new to the area.

They place is cute and the menu is appealing, but I expected more from a 4 star reviewed place. 

I got the egg salad sandwich and they gave me the pesto pasta. They did not ask if I wanted chips or pasta. The egg salad had no seasoning, it was just mashed up eggs, mayo, lettuce, and bread (bread was good I suppose). The pesto pasta was very acidic tasting, I'm guessing to keep the vibrant green color on it. I also ordered an iced chai latte. It came and looked white, it tasted of milk only and hardly any chai flavor.
