Great night out with friends. Food was delicious. Salmon and Tuna were so fresh. Fries were delicious! Drinks are cute and yummy. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun! Kids can enjoy a fun meal as well. Ramen is hot and delicious.Food: 5/5
Wait times were pretty long and they don't take reservations, but we did go to Orlando on Christmas Week. With regular flow and people giving up, we got in pretty quickly though. Get the Chicken Nanban if possible I think Fridays only. The Ramen Noodles were pretty good. Broth was filling. Chashu had good flavor... but Nanban was best. Wagyu has some cool accoutrements too if you wanna splurg a bit. Ask them about the market price!
Rice bowls, Ramen, Yakitori, Okonomiyaki, oh my! This is the Japanese food you need in your life. So amazing and delicious we had to make it back twice on a short trip to Orlando. This restaurant offers fantastic authentic Japanese cuisine with a clean, fresh, relaxed and hip atmosphere.Food: 5/5
All I have to say is that this place is amazing and worth waiting for a table. Fun ambience with all of the retro memorabilia and toys. Service is a bit slow and it was hard to get water refills, but the food more then makes up for it. Highly recommend ordering off the specials menu, though they do run out quickly. Almost everything we ate was great, and the misses were far and few. We had the grilled squid special and it was ridiculous. Other Highlights were the vegetables. I could live off the japanese eggplant and brussel sprout skewers, they were that good. The scallion chicken and short rib were both dry so I would pass on those, but definitely order the fried chicken. That is phenomenal. I am excited to go visit my friend in Florida again so that we can go back and try some more things on the menu.
Right when you walk in, the perfect, retro vibe hits. I cannot recommend sitting at the bar enough if you're able. Not only do you get to see how the kitchen works, but you also get a good preview of everything being prepared before it goes out if you're at the end. Plus, the service is absolutely incredible. It's tapas-style for the most part, so you'll be ordering a few dishes. We ordered 11 dishes, and the ones that stood out were the chicken nanban specialty item, bacon-wrapped mochi specialty item, chicken skin, beef tenderloin and the matcha tiramisu. Cannot recommend this place enough!
Great food and I like the Japan vibe of the restaurant. They open at 5pm and the wait is always long so make sure you go early if you want to get in fast. The ramen is excellent and the matcha tiramisu is to die for! A bit on the pricey side but the drinks are so good and I can't recommend this restaurant enough. Definitely a must visit!
Great Mini plates and Bowls to try which is so popular. Many choices of Sake's. This place is so well known among neighborhood and no take out when we dined in. Bar is also great. Salmon was awesome as rightly cooked. You can get some souvenirs as well.
Super delicious dishes and I highly recommend this place! We ordered the rice with roe add-on, the roes tasted very fresh and added lots of flavor to the rice! The fish dish is very tender and we enjoyed it a lot!
Susuru was so nice!! The atmosphere and the kindness of the staff made us feel familiar and welcomed. The food was good and the desserts were my favorites. I haven’t been in japan but it kinda felt like I was over thereFood: 5/5
Some of the best Japanese food my wife and I have had. The place does things shareable style with small portions. Make sure you order a lot when you go. We got the chicken karaage, chicken skewers, chashu bowl, gyoza, saba shioyaki, and hamachi crudo. All the dishes were amazing, but the hamachi was absolutely perfect. The chashu bowl was the best I have ever had. You should definitely give this place a try. However, there is generally a wait to get in so make sure you get there early.
