I came to svetness in need of help with losing weight I put on after giving birth. I have started training with Svetness and I can say that I am 100% satisfied with the service I am receiving. My trainer is very prompt and knowledgeable in regards to personal training. My husband will actually start training with me twice a week! Excited to see my transformation throughout this transformation! Would highly recommend this company

I'm copying and pasting the demand letter my attorney sent Mr. Zurkov and his legal counsel on record on 7/12/2017. If you need to work with this "company', be prepared to litigate when they fail to fulfill their obligations or provide a refund. In this case, I had to hand this matter over to my legal counsel and after facing a potential lawsuit which we were prepared to (and are still ready) to file, they chose to provide a refund. Choose to do business with this company at your own risk. Dear Mr. Zurkov: This firm represents Anil Karmel. Please direct all future communications regarding this matter to me. On April 27, 2017, Svetness Corp. (“Svetness”) and Mr. Karmel entered into a Personal Training Services Agreement (“Agreement”) (Attachment A). The Agreement requires Svetness to provide qualified personal trainers to meet with Mr. Karmel for sixteen (16) training sessions per month. Svetness advertises to the public that it will “work around your schedule” and, in Mr. Karmel’s case, agreed that it would provide the sessions at xxxxx in xxxxx, Virginia. Svetness has breached the agreement by: (1) failing to provide qualified personal trainers; (2) failing to provide the trainers at the agreed location; and (3) failing to provide the trainers in accordance with the client’s schedule. Furthermore, Svetness has refused to “work around” Mr. Karmel’s schedule to enable him to receive the sixteen (16) sessions per month that Svetness is obligated to provide under the terms of the Agreement. Mr. Karmel notified Svetness of its breaches on numerous occasions. For example, on May 14, 2017, Mr. Karmel sent an email to Conrad Rodearmel and James Mizelle stating that Svetness’s trainer failed to appear at, or was significantly late to, scheduled sessions. On June 2, and again on June 12, Mr. Karmel notified Mr. Mizelle that his assigned trainer had failed to show. In each instance, Svetness failed to cure its breach of the Agreement. In fact, Svetness has expressly admitted that it has been unable to meet its contractual obligations on certain occasions because it lacked sufficient trainers. Svetness’s numerous failures to perform under the Agreement excuse Mr. Karmel from making any further payments to Svetness. Accordingly, this letter also serves as Mr. Karmel’s notice of cancellation of the automatic payments he authorized under the Recurring Payment Authorization Form dated April 27, 2017 (Attachment B). Mr. Karmel has notified his bank and credit card that no further payments to Svetness are authorized. To date, Mr. Karmel has paid Svetness $2,880 for forty-eight (48) sessions. Due to Svetness’s breaches of the Agreement, only 16 of these sessions actually occurred. As a result, Mr. Karmel has overpaid Svetness $1920. Because the Agreement has terminated for cause, a refund of this amount is appropriate under Section 3. Please remit this amount to me, made payable to Mr. Karmel, immediately. Failure to issue this refund by July 14, 2017 will constitute grounds to seek legal remedy.

I had an excellent trainer who came to my home 3x a week for 6 months. Unfortunately, the Svetness business model is totally flawed! They contract/1099 trainers and Svetness withheld payment from my trainer even though they were getting paid by me on time. My trainer had to cancel my future sessions because she didn't get paid and told me she couldn't proceed. I didn't hear anything from Svetness, so I had to email two different email addresses because the trainer manager I was originally assigned left. Someone named James called me back, and he blamed my trainer who has been the only steady face and brand of Svetness since I started. First he told me that she didn't turn in her training sheets on time to get paid but then admitted they have a new payroll system/Paychex, and he had a check waiting for her her to pick up. I wasn't offered another trainer and was told by James that if I cancel my contract, he'll have their attorney call me. Svetness has some maturing to do with their internal operations and customer service. I won't proceed with my contract-no new trainer provided and terrible customer service. Update: I received a cease and desist letter from Svetness attorney for libel today. I removed a general statement about how they pay "all trainers" in my original post but kept my opinion and all facts intact. In Virginia, the truth is an absolute defense to a defamation law suit. Opinion is not libel: Svetness cares more about their reputation than retaining my trainer and trying to win back my loyalty without intimidation.

Excellent service provided by all staff. I'm very happy with the service provided. My trainer has accommodated my training to my busy traveling schedule. This is a great company.
