Another nice place to hike and camp along the c&o canal. Parking is a little tight, not many spots, especially bad on nice weekend.  Less crowded than great falls so fewer people and more wildlife.

Too many non bikers/hikers camp here during summer months due to close proximity to road. Unsupervised kids and dogs running amuck. Not a ranger in site. Would be 5 star otherwise.

Hikers and bicycle access only (no autos or campers).   Great place on the Potomac River with multiple sites for primitive camping. Each site has a park bench, fire ring, and elevated and open BBQ grill.  Shared porta-John's and water nearby.

Good starting point for a 5 Mike there and back run to great falls.

Great place for a hike or go fishing along the Canal. Plenty of largemouth bass, mostly under 10". I saw several snakeheads here too, so they are in there.
