This was my second time applying for a tourist visa. First time was quick and it went smoothly. Second time, I thought things will go well like last time. I was even bragging to everyone how quick they are and that they are better than applying for a tourist visa to Europe. So this is where I start of rampage.... Let me be clear, the staff is nice, friendly and all that but the level of incompetence displayed in my second and last visa application was beyond belief. I will never apply for a visa to Swaziland again. I love Swaziland but damn even the embassy has to project itself in a negative light ABROAD!!! The application was received June 26th and was told that my visa was approved and it was on its way when I called the next day. I had paid for return postage USPS with tracking number. So I kept checking online thinking it was on its way. So after one week with no tracking update, I called the embassy and was told that they had sent it and it was on its way. I should check with the USPS office. I called all USPS offices, went to supervisors left and right thinking they lost my visa.I called again the embassy just to confirm and spoke to another guy who was in charge of mailing. I was told it was sent via FedEx and would arrive soon. So what actually happened is that the embassy sent it to another visa applicant who happened to be in Canada. He was kind enough to mail it to me. My goodness can you believe that!! Imagine if he didn't bother. The other icing on the cake was the visa was stamped in the section for immigration officer (I'm thinking did they bother to read!!!). Even the ambassador collaborated by signing the visa in the wrong section (yes she/he is guilty too). I don't know what they drank, ate or smoked but nobody bothered to check the VISA section clearly marked in red. I pray that it won't be an issue when I travel. Seriously they need to hire someone who is detail oriented and double checks and keeps up with applications and all that. I even started hearing stories from left and right about how they lost docs and lied that they never received even though the tracking states received and signed. Swaziland embassy please do not display this incompetency abroad. You guys can do better be Kunene
