Sweet In The City is simply the best place to get cakes/cupcakes. Let's start with the professionalism of the staff. They have clear communication, prompt response time via phone or email whichever is preferred and very helpful with suggestions because sometimes you know what you want but need creative help to finalize an idea. The design of the cakes and cupcakes were impeccable. I had seen many other cakes they have made in the past, but they absolutely surpassed any expectations I had. Sometimes cakes/cupcakes LOOK great and that's it. That is NOT the case at Sweet in the City. The cake is so moist and not too rich, the icing was just the right amount to compliment the cake. I can't thank them enough for helping make our birthday party one to remember and will definitely be using them in the future for all of our cake/cupcake needs!!

Bought some of these cupcakes for a work event. Not only were the cupcake delicious but the staff was very nice as well. It was a potluck event and all my coworkers had something good to say about my cupcakes. Would definately recommend and buy from them again.

Thank you, Javier! My son wanted a marble cake, but instead of chocolate he wanted strawberry. It was strawberry and vanilla swirled with a strawberry filling. I found them online and they had good reviews. Other bakeries with those reviews were more expensive. Everyone at the birthday party loved the cake and asked where it was from.

This is a good cupcake bakery. But if your thinking about ordering a decorated cake then save your money and go somewhere else! The birthday cake that was made for my daughter looked like a Elementry school student decorated it! The man had me pay over the phone when I placed my order, which is very odd because I've never had any cake bakeries have me pay before I got my cake. If hadn't of already payd days before I got the cake I would have left the cake there and went to Publix. I also ordered a couple cup cakes that we're supposed to be rainbow colored. They looked very muddy with the colors running together. I took them back in and asked if I could get similar vanella cup cakes (the rainbow ones were funfetti with vanilla filling ) with pink iceing. The lady spoke hardly any English took the muddy rainbow cupcakes in the back. I thought that she removed the icing and added pink icing. At the party I noticed they were coconut filled ! So they weren't even the same cupcakes I ordered! The did taste really good. They should really stick to non decorated cupcakes.

My goodness! I first had a slice of this bakery's cake at a friend's party. It was extremely delicious and MOIST. You know that it's homemade - nothing like Publix's cake( or two other specialty bakeries in the area that I've frequented). I've had such a hard time finding a bakery that can deliver the look and the taste. Customer service was awesome AND they even went above and beyond to accomdate my boyfriend's request for a cake with 3 day's notice. This place is definitely my go to place for cakes. I am a customer for life!
