Discovered this little gem of a bakery this morning. There are a lot of choices to choose from. If you have a sweet tooth, visit them. Check out the photos already posted online. I was not disappointed. There is a varied menu and you can eat in to. The lovely, young girl at the counter was so nice and helpful. They encourage you to bring in your own bottle of wine to dine in because they don't have a liquor license yet. I love that!!! It reminded me of the local bakeries that I had in England before moving here. A step back down memory lane...

Went for breakfast and tried a few things. The fellow at the counter was very friendly and the owner seemed super nice too.

Cappuccino: 4 stars
Fruit pastry: 4 stars
Almond meringue: 5 stars (favorite thing ordered)
Almond paste with pistachio cookie: 3 stars
Breakfast omelet: 0 stars

I would go back for coffee and sweets. However…the omelet was the worst thing I have ever been served in a restaurant. The entire outside was brown and crunchy and overall it was just too salty to eat (and I like salt). There were a few shreds of cold cheese on top which merely added insult to injury.

As stated above…will be back for coffee and sweets.

This is without a doubt my favorite restaurant in Gilroy. All of the pastries are heavenly and are easily the best I've ever had, unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure of trying any of their pasta although I hope to remedy that soon.

Gilroy has some great restaurants but Sweet Sicily reigns supreme.

So glad I accidentally found this place! We went to check it out and it's very nice inside. They have quite a large selection of Italian pastries. We got 2 berry eclairs and a cookie and it came out to less than $10. Good prices for the pastries and everything tasted great. The guy was nice and informed me that the cannolis are made fresh to order (awesome) when I asked. Looking forward to trying the hot food soon!

Great little place that delivers much more than you'd expect. Amazing authentic Italian food and pastries. Have never had a bad meal here, and the owners are very accommodating for special orders. Large portions of really fresh and clean food. Will be back many times.
