Sweet27 features modern American cuisine that fuses the flavors of South Asia and the Caribbean with traditional American classics. I had been here a couple time early when it opened. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed. Went again recently, and was very pleasantly surprised. We sat at the bar, our bar tender was pleasant and attentive. Food was on point. Great veggie/vegan choices. The price points were also great. There is definitely something for everyone. I highly recommend this spot! (Especially if you're a vegetarian or vegan) We'll be be back.

The flavor of the pizza was great; the crust wasn't outstanding, but great for what I've tried with gluten-free crust. However, the desserts were phenomenal. I've been looking for a great cinnamon roll since being diagnosed with Celiac, and I've found it! 5 start cinnamon roll for sure! Great allergen-friendly location!

I want to love this place more! I appreciate so much that its gluten-free foods are excellent because I have a place to take my friends during the day for some gluten-free food if they have Celiac Disease or other gluten sensitivities; but the service in the cafe seems disorganized and tables do not seem to be regularly bussed/cleaned. Trying to find and pay for beverage items is very confusing as the coffee is self-serve. It's still a quiet, nice place to go and the sunshine from the open doors make it comforting, but better organization and cleanliness would make me so happy and I'd love to up the stars on this review.

This started as a bakery and is now a restaurant, hence the name. Plus it is on 27th St. Great food at great prices. Some traditional but also a lot with Indian and Caribbean flair. I am not a martini person but they had a great one with cucumber and other ingredients. Just had a Thai basil noodle dish that was quite tasty and spicy.

Great totally gluten free bakery and Restaurant.   They make cakes, etc for all of us Gluten free folks.  Also do dairy, but free, etc baking and meals.  AND when I go there I have to ask...is this beautiful looking " thing" gluten free and the staff very patiently replys.....Everything is gluten free.  Moves me to tears everytime I go.
