This bakery does have tasty treats and lots of variety, but the service is pathetic. Good customer service starts at the top. The top must be very unhappy because that’s how the employees seem. There’s one woman who is always counting the money in the register, maybe she’s the manager or owner, but she is barely civil to customers. Plus, by midday the floors are filthy.  No matter how good the food may be, until I read or hear that the service has improved I won’t go back.

Enjoyed delicious little treats here. Cafe au lait was excellent as well. So happy that they have a selection of milks, including almond and coconut. Will be back!

Recently preordered a cake for my Moms Birthday. This cake was raw, so no cake for her Birthday. 
Bitthday girl took cake back and cashiers were rude and received  no apology. I was a asked to email supervisor for refund. I did, explained to her what happened. She responded with no apology just requested card number.  I don't appreciate the insensitivity..

This bakery has been here for a while and is thought of as somewhat of an Austin baking institution. But, honestly, it's not really exceptional. It's not bad and has good baked goods and coffee. It's just not really any better than other bakeries. If you go here for any other reason, do it to support local businesses.
