Last minute decision to spend the day at the New Buffalo beach?  Stop in to Sweetwater to grab everything you need - bathing suits, towels, pail & shovel, goggles, drinks, etc.  Very wide selection of goods, and all the essentials you'd need.  Not dirt cheap prices, but in no way entirely unreasonable either.  Friendly staff!

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Worst retail experience I've ever had. My family vacations in New Buffalo every year and we've brought so many people to this store. We will never be back after seeing their service. My mom bought some $50 crock sandals and wore them for 20 minutes in the hotel room and realized they were super uncomfortable. We brought them back less than 24 hours later with the receipt and they wouldn't return them or even exchange them for another pair. They said since they were "worn" indoors they couldn't do anything about it. The male employee was extremely rude to us. We won't be coming back...
