Have had several trips here over the years, it has improved greatly.  If your needs are simple or time is limited I would recommend however if your emergency is serious and you have the time I have to recommend traveling to Knoxville's larger hospitals.

During my visit to the ER I found the staff to be friendly and efficient. I was rapidly Triage and taken to a room. The staff performed many series of test to find out the problem. Dr Harrison went the extra mile to get me to another specialist Doctor that day. I have been in many ERs and found this one to be one of the best I have ever been in.

Walked in with so much pain. They told me nothing was wrong. Spent two hours for nothing. Just got out and I'm in so much pain. Sweetwater hospital is a damn joke!

Your gonna have people complain no matter what size hospital you have.  I've been going there for many years now and I'm still alive. 

People need to understand that the workers there aren't perfect and sometimes things don't go as planned

Worse place ever. My family doctor has been trying to get a hold if radiology for 5 days now. I had a CT scan there and they won't call her back. I'm sitting in the office while they try again. You should be ashamed. I'm sick and have a fever they were trying to get me treatment but can't because the scans aren't read and no one will call her back. Ridiculous!
