I have always been a major fan of the red velvet cake. And While craving it, I was suggested by a friend to go taste it at the Swirl Bakery. And man I was amazed. I started with the cake and then ended up ordering some cupcakes too. Perfectly moist, delicious and with everything what you need. And a special mention for the person behind the counter. She was amazing. I really enjoyed the experience.
Absolutely a perfect bakery! We ordered a red velvet birthday cake online, but once in their store couldn't resist to grab some cupcakes and a brownie. The store: Super friendly person in the store, very hygienic in approach of handling the food. Lot's of choices and flavours to be tasted, you will not be disappointed when entering here! The food: Couldn't think of a single point to improve with the stuff I tasted. Red velvet cake has a deep chocolat taste to it, very moist and great frosting, same goes for the cupcakes. Truly great cupcakes with nice subtle flavoring in the frosting that enhances the cake. And lastly the brownie... the best brownie I've tasted! Perfect texture and a very deep chocolate taste. Would definitely recommend the brownie being the underdog in the store! Long story short, I would recommend going here for your next birthday cake or moment of sweetness!
The best cupcakes I ever tasted! The cupcakes are not too dry, and crumble. And they're so generous with the frosting, which is enriched with flavours. At first I was worried if the cupcakes were too sweet, but nope, you really cant get enough of each bite.
Most delicious cakes! Also very cute presentation. Tastes exactly like American red velvet from back home. They were extremely quick to answer my questions. Amazing service and quick delivery.
Overpriced I got a 3tier cake for my birthday We ordered “cookies and cream” but it didnt taste of much apart from some crumbled Orios on top you could count the orio crumbs inside there was so few. I could do better myself for a lot less money. Buying flour eggs and sugar next time
American cupcake enthusiast here! These are the closest cupcakes I've had to the real thing in Belgium. The cake of the cupcakes is absolutely perfect--moist and has the perfect crumb. The red velvet was ALMOST authentic. The only thing wrong was the frosting. It should be more tangy but I understand it is hard to make over here without the brick Philadelphia cream cheese. I am hoping they improve the cream cheese frosting because the cake is perfect. The whoopie pie was SPOT ON. It is definitely worth going to Berchem for these cupcakes. I tried Momade Cupcakes in the city center...what a joke. They are more like muffins if anything--absolutely terrible and such a disappointment. The Swirl Bakery was an absolute wonderful surprise and I will go here anytime I crave American baked goods. Thank you!

Great cake, even better service
Some of these cupcakes were very well done. Carrot cake was very moist and frosting was very complimentary. Wish the flavours packed more punch. Key lime barely tastes like lime at all. : Nutella one was a win! Overall a good “try” for America style cupcakes! Hoping they keep improving!

Ik ben normaal geen taart eter aangezien ik taarten te zwaar vind en snel misselijk van word, maar hun taart echt top en dit zeg ik zonder leugen of wat dan ook. Lekker luchtig, smaakvol, niet te zwaar,… en kan alleen hetzelfde zeggen over de cupcakes! Zeker een aanrader!!! En top mensen en zeer vriendelijk!
