When my daughter and I were searching for the perfect place to get a wedding cake for her upcoming marriage, we had been to so many places that we were almost exhausted. That's when she saw a wedding cake in the window of the Swiss Pastries. She nearly drug me to the window and said that's it! If it tastes as good as it looks, our search is over. This Bakery discriminates against same gender partners. We had tasted a cake from this bakery and were excited to order a cake for our daughter's engagement party. We had a nice chat with the woman who took our order and gave her the names and message we requested for the cake for 50 people. "To the Future", "Congratulations" and my daughter's name and her partners name. She took the order and then called us on the telephone to say they would not bake the cake for us. Although she said she felt badly about refusing, she would not bake the cake. This experience was painful but we understand that the world will change slowly one person at a time. We went to another Bakery and will spend our $$ there.

We ordered a cake for a friend's 50th bday party and it was amazing! The fruit was so fresh and the whipped topping was perfect (not too heavy or sweet), while I was there I also picked up an apple pie that was incredible. Could not recommend it more highly! Everything they make is made with heart. Wonderful family owned business! A GEM!

Fantastic baked goods at great prices. The staff makes you feel welcome and everything we have tried there has been delicious. Cakes, pies, and pastries can be ordered a day or two in advance, or they have a small selection of items for walk in customers. Stop by once and you will be back for more!
