Golfed here in the past, and really enjoy the course. I saw a deal on GolfNow and decided to head back.  Little did I know Tuesdays are women's league play (which nobody mentioned), which created havoc. After cruising through the South course (8:16 start), I was set the start the West course for the back 9. After my drive, I'd caught up to the ladies league... To finish that hole and the next par 3, it took 30 minutes. After the second hole on the back 9, I turned around and played the south again. I wish Sycamore was more up front about the league play... Like St Clair Shores, they don't even advertise 18 holes Tuesdays, because they do have morning league play.  Aside from that, the course was in good shape and fun as usual... just beware of Tuesday mornings.

Extremely rude staff.  I walked into the pro shop and was immediately greeted with "what do you want?" by and older man named Max.  I will spare the details, but the rest of the interaction was him being extremely rude and me not wanting to give my business to this place. If I didn't already pre-pay on groupgolfer I would have walked out. My wife walked in for some direction after I left and was treated with the same rudeness. 
At the turn we stopped to get some food. After waiting about 10minutes at the bar with nobody in sight we knocked on the door to the back. A man finally came out and looked as though he just did 10 lines of coke. He was constantly sniffing and acted somewhat annoyed that we asked him to do his job. 
 Although the course was nice we will not be golfing here again solely due to the staff.  I would suggest paying any high school student minimum wage to work there because they would be much better than the current staff.

This place really deserves no stars for the banquet center. The manager Julie of the banquet center is the worst manager iv ever seen. Iv also had several friends work there and they say Julie throws tantrums and treats the staff very bad. Iv seen it with my own eyes at a wedding I was at there. She should not be infront of a wedding treating an employee horrible. Later on I told her that that was not appropriate and she laughed and told me she doesn't care. There is no way Julie should have any authority there, let alone being a ungrateful manager. Horrible experience

Pro shop extremely rude!!! Bar/Restaurant service poor.  They knew we had a group of 32 and had not enough wait staff.  Waited 45 minutes for a burger.  Orders were all messed up.  People got wrong food.  Horrible, totally unprofessional staff. No wonder there were no other golfers in the restaurant.  Food is poor at best.
