The facility is very clean and up to date. Ryan is a real professional that takes the time and really cares about helping his patients. He has helped me with my pain and also explains what stretches and excersises I need to do. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of physiotherapy.

I started going for physiotherapy in 1991 and must have visited at least 6 to 7 physiotherapy places since then but I had never been impressed by any one place until I came to Symmetry. The problem with most of these places is that even though the therapists may appear to know where your pain is and the trigger points they never spend enough time treating them. From my experience, the therapist would spend about 10 to 15 minutes with me and then the rest of the time I would get hooked on to some machine or a heat pad while he/she attended to another client. This time I was determined to find a good one and I started researching. That was how I found out about the treatment approach taken by Symmetry. I started seeing Ryan who first treated me for my shoulder pain caused by calcific tendinitis and a partial tear of a tendon. Even after a few visits I could feel the difference. Ryan's use of manipulative therapy is super effective. I feel the difference after each visit and with daily faithful exercises given by him, my shoulder pain is gone but I am still doing the exercises now to strengthen it. I have returned to symmetry to treat my pelvic problem. Once again I am so grateful to Ryan for the excellent job he is doing. During the treatment I had to leave for vacation. I was to fly on Wednesday but on Monday I was not even able to walk up a short flight of stairs. I had two sessions with him that week (one just hours before I flew!). I could never have survived the 7 hours flight plus a local tour of 11 hours in Scotland if not for Ryan's super good manipulative therapy and his prescribed exercises. I returned for treatment after my trip and right now I feel fine and is just continuing to do strengthening exercises. I know I have at last found a really good physiotherapy place. What makes Symmetry a difference is the super effective manipulative therapy, and both Ryan and Joanna's professionalism and honesty. If your session is 40 minutes be assured you will get your full 40 minutes of their time. They are very committed to your recovery and work very hard to achieve it with you. I highly recommend both Ryan and Joanna of Symmetry physiotherapy to anyone who is looking for very knowledgeable, highly skilled, and extremely committed professional physiotherapists. The fact that the place is pristinely clean, bright and cheerful, both therapists are so pleasant and lots of free parking in a very convenient location are great bonuses. I am very confident you will be very happy with either of them.

Ryan and Johanna were amazing. I went in for an initial treatment and they were able to diagnose my issues within minutes of looking at the problem areas. I was given excellent treatment from the moment I stepped in the door. The clinic itself is very clean and equipped with all the modern conveniences you could ask for. I will be going back for all my subsequent treatment and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is suffering for injury.

The physiotherapists, Joanna and Ryan, are very knowledgeable and have been able to treat both my husband and I on numerous occasions on different issues -- let it be caused by a sports injury, the office desk job, or pains associated with pregnancy (on my part). I appreciate the various approaches they use in treatment, in particular manual therapy... as they work hard in mobilizing the various muscles to ensure they move as it should. In my case, I know Joanna takes time in assessing and hearing my pain points; she is able to diagnose the source of the discomfort accurately and provides the appropriate treatment - even when I may have difficulty in explaining the pain points. On another note, the clinic is extremely clean and spacious. A very convenient location in North York. I highly recommend this clinic to everyone.

Joanna and Ryan both demonstrate an extensive knowledge in their fields and are extremely hands on with their treatment methods. Be weary if your physios only treat you with machines! I saw Joanna for alignment issues, back pains, and headaches. She was patient in explaining everything she was doing and why she was doing it. When one method of treatment did not help, she was proactive in looking at other causes for my pain. Very satisfied with treatment, both come highly recommend.
