It's a great zoo to visit, lots of variety between species, and very awesome habitats. I've been here several times and it's always a good trip :) I do however wish there was more help for disabled and elderly, not much room to maneuver a wheelchair between exhibits and kids running all over, so it makes it difficult to bring anyone with special needs who doesn't like bigger crowds. Otherwise, a great place to go when you have a day off with the family or friends.

A good zoo that is constantly improving itself and getting new creatures. A steal as far as admission goes (check out snow leopard days in the winter, half off or free with a non cell phone camera). Do a lot community events so something is always going on and do a lot of outreach. Really uped their game in the last decade. Great place for kids, a casual date, or just anyone who like animals.

The animals seem very content and well taken care of, they have been remodeling (atleast during fall when we went) very nice and kid friendly. Just please don't leave wrappers around they have a fairly open pond with plenty of diverse waterfowl; long story short someone had thrown a wrapper in, one of the ducks went for it and they had to find the duck and whatnot it could have been worse please be responsible ^.^

Very educational. Its not a giant zoo. For what it is it is worth the trip. Lots of animals. The kids will surely love it. Pretty clean and put together. Active duty get in free with dependants. Lots of events going on there. Very very scenic during the summer/fall time. Not bad in the winter either. Lots to do inside.

Amazing experience! Visited November 17, 2017. A little windy outside but seeing the outdoor animals was worth the chill. Plenty to do inside as well. I was surprised to see that there were very few animals that weren't visible to the public despite the cold. Extremely affordable, 8$ /adult and 4$ /youth is unbeatable! Very pleased with my experience.
