This was my first time here ever and I was extremely impressed with the menu, the customer service, and how tasty the food was. From the skillet menu, I ordered the cluck cluck, with the original French toast, and the billion dollar bacon. The bacon was amazing, it had this sweet sauce on top that made it crunchy. Courtney was the waitress and she was amazing! Very attentive and knew the menu very well. I would recommend showing up before 9 am because it can be very busy for brunch! I will definitely have to come back soon! Parking: A lot of parking up front. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a nice ramp on the side for anyone needing it.
This place was great from the moment we walked through the door. The host was very friendly and welcoming and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The food and service Lucía was equally impressive. Not to mention the decor - bright, clean and inviting. Definitely would recommend if you're in the area, it might even be worth the drive in from Chicago. Ooh, did I mention the portions are quite big so wear your stretchy pants!
Warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hostess Isha was wonderful. Great food and wonderful service! We ordered breakfast items and were very satisfied. The food is fresh, coffee is hot and the portions are big. Will definitely return!Recommended dishesChicken Waffles, Biscuits Gravy, Gravy, Pancake, Fried Chicken and Waffle with a Sweet Chipotle Sauce, Side of Pancakes, Chicken & Waffle Deluxe
Most definitely the BEST Breakfast place in town!! The service from Mr. David was Phenomenal! The food was outstanding and we will definitely be back for more. Loved the Cheddar Grits, Turkey Bacon, Berry Crepes, Pancakes, Potatoes, Bagels and Lox …. because I tried food from whole table~LOL
Such a cute place. So many unique options. There are choices for the health nuts and choices for those who want to indulge. Also great choices for coffee syrup flavors and drinks! Prices are reasonable too. Must try! Be sure to see my photos!
Loved the breakfast options and variety of unique options here. Our server was amazing and checked in often. The place was large, clean, and decorated well. We will definitely be back.
The last two times I’ve been here my food was was barely lukewarm. Last time was the crabby cake, this time was biscuits and gravy with sausage and eggs. This visit my girlfriends meal cluck cluck was fine. Last visit my girlfriends chicken was cold chicken and waffles and we debated on sending it back because we felt bad. After getting a new plate and it being hot, didn’t feel so bad and more annoyed. I didn’t ask for my food to be redone because I don’t often feel comfortable doing that. Yes the food comes out quickly, but apparently at the cost of having a properly hot meal. Employees are professional and courteous, but I don’t care about that when my food isn’t enjoyable. Next time I feel I will need to specify that I want a piping hot meal which is ridiculous. I ate a bit and decided to take it home and heat it up. I included the picture of what amounts to about 80-90% of my meal that I boxed up from this visit. I like this place, it has the best fried chicken around, but I am beginning to lose interest. I don’t even want to be compensated, just for the restaurant to step it up.
I was in the area looking to find a place for brunch. I had an amazing experience at Syrup! The chicken and waffles were absolutely delicious - the chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the waffles were light and fluffy. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend Syrup, especially their chicken and waffles!
I ordered the mini waffles flight, I love flights and it's a great way to try out the majority of the menu. The food wasn't impressive, it was seemingly rushed and the waffles were a little underdone, nothing to complain about or worth fixing. I would go to buttermilk or tasty biscuits depending on your location as both of those are around the same price, the portion sizes are bigger. I also have been to both of these locations multiple times. Also a fun fact I held the homemade sweet cream for several minutes and nothing came out so I have no opinion on if that would have made the difference. The service from the staff was amazing despite how busy they were. The food needs some work, but it could very easily just not have been my cup of tea to use a turn of phrases.
Came here around 11:30am had a 10-15 min wait. Very modern and chic environment. There were seats at the small area of their counter bar/kitchen. In fact their kitchen and bar was half the restaurant. They have both booth and table type seating. We were seated at the sun room. The menu had variety of breakfast and lunch options. Service was fantastic. Food was very good. Coffee was tasty. Freshly squeezed orange juice. I'll come back here again for sure and will bring my entire squad.
