I applied for a house on Thursday. After not hearing anything back, I called on Tuesday to check on my application. Not only was I finally told I was approved for the house, they told me that I was approved on Friday (no one let me know this) they did not even care to leave a message. They cancelled my application because I didn’t respond in 24/48 hours on the house. (Once again, that I had no idea I was approved for)They said they tried to call me once. I did not receive message saying I was approved, did not receive an email saying I had been approved, nothing. They said they tried to call my girlfriend and they said they left a message. She in fact had no missed calls from the same number that called me. (Her voicemail is not even set up.)When I asked them why they didn’t try to call me one more time before cancelling my application, all I got was a half hearted “sorry.” My voicemail was set up and no one bothered to leave me a message more less give me the courtesy of a second call. I asked why they didn’t leave a voicemail with me, and was told “we’re sorry we already have the other people’s deposit” Like it wasn’t their problem anymore, not worth their time. Long story short. Got approved, got one phone call with no message. They didn’t let me know in any facet that I was approved. No real apology. Was rushed off the phone “because there was nothing they could do.” How about calling someone more than once? Or maybe leaving a voicemail or even sending an email? Maybe this was a blessing in disguise. UPDATE: the missed call I had on Friday wasn’t even from them. How do I know? They actually left a message. Crazy concept in this crazy world I know.

Needed a place to live in a week, they had me in a great apartment in a great location within 4 days! Colleen showed me around and answered all the questions I had. Personable yet professional staff! Online portal makes renting easy.

Go with this company if you want a good renting experience. (Golden rule still applies)

UPDATE 10/15/17:
Renting with them since February. Auto-payments 1st of every month, no issues thus far.

Not a tenant but went to their office to view some properties, the employees were very helpful and treated me very nicely. I really appreciated the great customer service!

They will take over property's already rented and treat the tenants horrible I have been in my house for over 10 years between me and my mom when they took over the wouldnt fix the problems one of which is making my health worse and the house needs a lot of work and they won't help and since I hadnt paid cause they. Had my moms name on the lease and wouldnt talk to me for a while i turned in our 30 day notice to leave and then they accepted it and yet three days later serve me with eviction papers.... Mind you im disabled as is my mom we both waiting for disability my friend pays our bill and they do this instead of worjing with us they would just rather kick us out on the streets then work it out and when I called to ask why they was rude so i wouldn't deal with them

As a Realtor, I have been completely impressed with everyone that works at TE Johnson & Sons.  They have managed personal property for me and I recommend them to clients when they need a property manager.  They are also very involved with the local Realtor association and various charitable causes.  A+ company and people.
