Last month I stopped by in hopes of buying new leggings. While I was looking through their rack, I saw some used leggings that had obviously been switched out and stolen! I took those leggings and gave them to the woman at the dressing room, explaining that someone had probably stolen the new ones. Instead of thanking me for bringing this to her attention, she throws them on a seating area, says "Don't hand that to me, I don't touch those things! That's disgusting!" and tells me to go put them back where I found them because "they're gonna blame me and I'll get fired, I don't want to be responsible". Really? There's this gross pair of leggings out in the shopping area and you care more about who's going to take the blame? I put them on the nearest rack, tell her she should call the manager to take them, and go on to try the leggings I was going to buy. When I'm done, she checks the leggings I just tried on for tags as if I was the one who stole the leggings I showed her or as if I was gonna steal a pair right after I showed her evidence of past theft. Again, Really? I ended up not buying anything. As for the used pair of leggings, I doubt she ever reported it to anyone as she seemed more concerned for being blamed than customers touching some random stained leggings. However, I would like to note that the woman was not the usual one at the dressing room, I've been here before and the usual lady is always nice, the woman working this time was not anyone I had seen before.

I never been in a T. J. Maxx before and was hesitant to go due to the location. I went in about three weeks ago and was surprised at how clean, bright and organized the store was and the helpful staff. I decided to become a regular customer. I went last Saturday and found two pairs of designer shoes and some Estee Lauder skincare products which were almost half of department store retail price. Everything was going great until I reached the cashier and was verbally abused for my spending money. I'm not kidding. She proceeded to tell me how she couldn't believe I spending this amount of money and how she never spent this amount of money in a week let alone a day and "It must be nice to throw away your money." Again, I'm not kidding. I reported it to the manager but I really don't think they did anything about it. I really liked this store and planned on becoming a regular customer but after this outrageous experience, I will never step foot in this store again and suggest others don't either unless you want to be berated by an employee who clearly hates the customers and the store. FYI: I was never even offered anything to keep my business. Considering I spent close to $500 in a month, they obviously don't want my money.

They have a great selection of anything I can be looking for at any given time, and friendly customer service.

Nice clean bright and lots of good merchandise at discount prices. Understanding this is an outlet for all sorts of out-of-season items, there are many gaps in the available selections

For a TJ Maxx the clothes are super expensive . Its funny it really is . When clearly you can get cheaper clothes at cough * herbergers * in the same shopping mall!
