Good basic NE pub. Nice inside, good bartender, had Stella on tap. Got the Nashville hot chicken. Was OK, Sysco chicken, sandwich was a little small, but they gave me about 2# of fries, which were very good. I'd go again. Almost did during my stay.Food: 3/5

This review is based solely on the pizza which is advertised as bar pizza which has a very specific meaning on the South Shore. I ordered takeout so I can’t speak to much of anything else but the bartender who helped me when I came in was pleasant and quick to help me.  The pizza appeared undercooked, it was not crispy at all, my pineapple tasted as if it was still fresh, no char on it at all. The dough itself was not buttery or cracker like, it was almost similar to a dough you’d get from a chain pizza place rather than a typical SSBP. The cheese seemed to be heavy on skim mozzarella and almost no cheddar which left a bad taste in my mouth combined with the fact it was under cooked. Keep in mind when I say undercooked it was edible but not where it should be by any stretch.  Long story short: I will likely not be returning for pizza but the order was completed quickly and the staff was friendly  Parking: In the plaza, tons of spots

Local sports bar very close to Lovell Ice Arena. Great for a stop between  games! Hot honey pepperoni pizza specials menu, as I remember was uniquely outstanding.Food: 4/5

Glad I didn't pay with my card .. after tipping 30+ on a $20 dollar tab and winning $250 at keno, the 2 fluzes behind the bar tried to convince me I never paid for the next ticket and attempted to rob me for another $20 .. head honcho admitted they were wrong , paid me and kicked me out .. guess this is the treatment you get for ordering pennies worth of drinks and being generous .. never again

Place is a dump. Can’t believe the Board of Health has not closed it down. As soon as you walk in there the place stinks.  Don’t bother or waste your precious money.Food: 1/5

Online info said they had food, they didn't. Staff seemed surprised we were coming in. Didn't have the mixers we wanted for a cocktail. Had bottled Coronas and skiddadled. Needs a visit from Jon Taffer.Food: 1/5

Typical new England pub. Food was great, atmosphere at the bar was very laid back. Ordered the hot pastrami on rye. It was like 12 or 13 bucks which is really good cause other places its around 15$   service was excellent and friendly. Pricing is very affordable. Just alittle below industry standards and the quality is above standard. Great little local watering hole with a very diverse crowd. I'll definitely be back as often as possible. I highly recommend it for a date night with your wife or lunch with the kids. Go visit soon, you won't be disappointed

Actually a very good bar menu.  The Hot Pastrami sandwich is the best in the Boston area but not the real NYC.  Went back the 2nd night and ordered a rare  R. H. S  Bulldog Burger with Smoked Gouda and onion rings.  It was rare and very tasty.  Had about ½ lb of hamburger and was delicious!  TKO Shea's is definitely a place I'll be visiting often.
