Let me begin by stating that I prefer to dine in a visually appealing & comfortable environment. This place was not. Concrete, square tubular steel, & hard, wood seating. The dining area was very tiny so it definitely would not be good for bus loads of hungry travelers. Not a great start to my experience here but I went for the food so, not a deal breaker. After placing our order I went to gather the extras to complete our meal. They were out of salt & plastic knives. I went to my vehicle to get both. There were only 3 orders ahead of ours but we waited 20 minutes to get our food. My portion of the order was 2 crunchy beef tacos. Hard to mess up, I thought. I've included a picture. As you can see, one has almost no cheese & they are both predominatly filled with lettuce. I decided to overlook both of these things & eat them anyway. Unfortunately, I couldn't overlook what happened next. I took a bite & the shell was so stale that I couldn't chew it. I thought that just maybe I was being too judgemental so I had the other adult that was with me break a piece off of the other shell to sample it. She said that it was also stale. I asked to see the manager on duty & requested a refund. I left hungry & had to go elsewhere to get something to eat in route by that point. It was definitely not a pleasant experience & I will not be going back.

The food was swell... but we were discussing how we see the cashiers talking and on their phone and how a couple of people our wiping and cleaning when they are not busy. A tall black boy, white woman, and a short white boy. And this is very consistent. On the times my family and I have been there.

Admittedly the service is very slow. Like.....VERY. I went this week for a solitary been burrito. It was lunch time and the drive-through was quite busy so I figured I might have a better chance going inside. When I went in, there were 8 people sitting around waiting for their orders to be filled. Everyone had ordered already, these folks were just waiting. I counted 8 people waiting. Then there were the patrons eating their meals in there as well. The location is already on the small side, so it was very crowded and there were people standing. I knew they'd likely have to tend to the drive-through customers first, which they did. My receipt read 12:11pm. I LITERALLY didn't get my food until 12:37. MY ONE BURRITO. There were 4 people working, from what i could see (3 making the food, and 1 at the register), and yeah they had a lot of work, but I've never been to taco bell and had service that slow EVER. I'd understand 5, 10, and MAYBE 15 minutes. But they are a fast-food establishment; there's no old abuelita in the back making their tortillas for them, so I don't understand the issue. The employees were moving at a very leisurely pace, talking and joking with each other. Perhaps they could use a bit more training on when it's okay to talk and joke (during slow times) and when you need to speed up the pace a bit and fill orders (busy lunch rush). One young woman was working hard though, but she wasn't very fast. Maybe she's newer or something. Everywhere in Winnsboro is crowded at lunch and that's when most restaurants get the bulk of their business. So being on your game during that time especially is very important. I probably won't go back during lunch. That used up my entire lunch period, plus some. Oh, and they gave my burrito to someone else on accident, so they had to make me a new one. *side eye*. At least it was tasty.

Well I'm from out of town I showed up to get some food notice that they had a whole Lobby full of people tried to walk in everybody in the lobby looked at me and laughed I think they all knew each other and we're hanging out several people in the group we're going in and out of the lobby even though the building was closed and only giving drive-thru food. Employees and people in the lobby were laughing at us like it was a joke . so I bit my tongue and went through the drive-thru. Don't think that's part of the franchise rules small town favoritism. Not very professional
