Every time I go there it is worse than the time before. The menu is overcomplicated to start with and the employees in this location seem to barely be able to comprehend orders beyond a number and a size. Fail.

Got my food does quickly and well. Newly renovated so it was nice inside. During the evening not very busy at all. At least during the summer.

They have a terrible time running the cash register. Taking Taco Johns coupons is next to impossible. The last time I went there I paid for a combo meal and got a burrito. Today I got nothing. The employee couldn't figure out how to ring a sale for an item they advertise in BIG letters on the front window. After waiting for ten minutes for him to trying enter the sale, and him waiting for tech support, I left. The icing on the cake was as I was leaving, a customer was returning their order as it was wrong. Par for the course at Taco Johns lately. Some of the other reviews asked the person to call customer support. I did. They were theoretically busy with other customers (which I can believe). Can't take an order and can't answer the phone. Still par for the course. However I did go to another taco stand in Brookings and was in and out of there in less than 3 minutes. AMAZING!

Not fine dining but good quality food and good service. Clean as well.

Clean, friendly service and decent food. However, it is small and the food is really greasy.
