Taco Chukis turned out to be the unexpected star of our evening. Initially, I only wanted to pregame here before heading to a fancier and pricier dinner, but I honestly almost wish we had just stayed put. The tacos were outstanding. Each one was packed with flavor and fresh ingredients. The tortillas were perfectly cooked - soft and warm, yet sturdy enough to hold all the delicious fillings. Although I only tried one option, I wish I was able to try them all! In the end, while our dinner at the other restaurant was enjoyable, Taco Chukis definitely stole the show for me. My wife and friends still liked the other place, but to me, this is the perfect spot for a delicious, affordable, and fun meal. Next time, I will vote to skip the fancy place altogether and head straight to Taco Chukis!
Amazing adobada tacos and baby burritos! Add cheese to the baby burritos. Pineapple on the "Tacos Chukis" is delicious. I like to put baby burritos in my pocket and snack on them throughout the day. Very unique flavors!Food: 5/5
I've been a loyal customer of this location for 10 years but today besides that my quesadilla was greasy than usual I was surprised that now they charge not only for the extra spicy salsa but for lemons too!! The guy told me they only put less than a half of a lemon per plate even tho in one plate I have two quesadillas. In a mocking way he gave me a quarter of a lemon, the most horrible and tiny one he could find and I don't think that's OK. I think the owner should know that as Hispanics we eat tacos and quesadillas with lemon and a lot of salsa how can you charge extra for something the restaurant should provide to eat with your product?? This is not the first opinion I hear from loyal customers about this. You guys should keep doing your dinners happy as you used to!
Small little restaurant in the second story of a building. The person behind the counter was wonderful friendly. The food was good. I would just say it was average, it had some flavor. If you have a mobile disability, there is no elevator. The eating area is small, but it's quaint. Nice light atmosphere
Service was fine considering how busy it was but this was the worst torta I’ve ever had I have low expectations for Mexican food here in Seattle but this was borderline inedible. The meat was overcooked and stupid dry and the bread was horrible. Idk what the hype about this place but I would recommend Taco Bell over Tacos ChukisFood: 1/5
Im pretty sure this is taco chukis OG location. I love the "hole in the wall" vibe. They make it easy to order and get food here, and the self service water is nice. I can't say there is one particular taco I like more than the others, and at the size - you can try them all if you're on an empty stomach. This is a great spot for a casual lunch date, a meal with friends, or a quick bite between your weekend chores.
I’m from AZ. I’m no stranger to Mexican food. This is some of the best Mexican food I have had in WA. My wife and I ordered six things. Both our favorite was the chicken quesadilla.
The restaurant is nice and clean. Good spot if you're looking for some tacos. The avocado sauce is really good! I'm a huge taco person, and the tacos didn't taste as good as they came out. Appearance was a solid 10/10 but the taste was a 7/10. The meat was too dry and lacked flavor.Food: 4/5
Great taste and service, clean and pleasant. I read about the place in a Lonely Planet guide and was impressed by the delicious tacos.Food: 5/5
Everything here is excellent! Lots of flavor in the food and surprisingly affordable for Seattle. It's a great spot to come to for delicious Mexican food for lunch or for dinner!Food: 5/5
