I'm from Texas and have eaten a lot of Mexican food from many different places across the US so I will leave my honest review here. It seems like they use very fresh ingredients. I thought my veggie bowl was delicious, veggies had the right amount of crunch and it was filling. My sister got the torta, and the bread they use for the torta was so good! The restaurant was also clean, friendly and inviting. Now the critique, my boyfriend got the tacos and he thought the meat was dry and unseasoned. So we probably won't get the tacos again but I will definitely come back to try more things including the breakfast. They had some tasty local beer on tap too so another reason to come back!
Great little Mexican restaurant. Fast/Casual service. Friendly staff, great food, clean interior. I'll be returning here for sure, I really want to try their breakfast offerings. We got a wet burrito and a fajita bowl. The portions were enormous!! Dietary restrictions: We asked for dairy & soy free items and we were assured that the Asada fajita bowl would fit the bill no cheese or crema, obviously Parking: It's in the QFC plaza, there is plenty of parking.
I love this place! The shredded chicken wet burrito is my favorite but everything I have had has been GREAT! They're fast and and the food is always fresh! The restaurant is always clean.Food: 5/5
We ate here for lunch today and it was delicious. We tried the grilled chicken mulitas, Wet Torta carnitas, Asada and carnitas street tacos, chips, salsa, guacamole, and Pineapple aguafresca. We really enjoyed the flavors and plenty of garnishes to try on everything! We definitely over ordered for 2 people but wanted to try alittle bit of everything. The mulitas were huge and a great deal @ $4.50 each. Everything was seasoned very well and tasted very fresh, only complaint was the carnitas was alittle dry but on the wet torta you couldn't really notice. The employees were very nice. We will definitely be back!
So excited Tacos Land is finally open! My brother and I tried them for lunch on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday in order to give a full review, YUM Lunch: Mullitas Asada very good all around, portion size was great, amount of meat and cheese was perfect, and seasoning was fantastic, my only complaint would be I wish it was crispier as I've had fantastic Mullitas at a food truck in Seattle that I compare everyone to; Street Tacos Veggie, Shrimp, & Adobaba these were what everyone expected, portions were perfect, filling was appropriate for each variety, seasonings were good, only content given was the Adobaba although clearly seasoned could have been seasoned longer as it didn't seem to penetrate the meat and fully flavor it through; BriTacos Beef great crunchy taco, fully filled, great flavors; Beans & Rice absolutely the best bite of food I've had in a while! So much flavor in such a simple dish but OMG will it be a repeat order! Breakfast: Jumbo BF Burrito Chorizo & Bacon, Asada & Bacon these burritos are absolutely amazing! They are filled to the maxed with your choice of proteins and made to order; Chilaquiles Plate eggs were nice and fluffy, sauce was tasty but not spicy, and the best beans you'll ever experience!; Mexican Omelette Asada big portion size, lots of flavorful asada, the only complaint would be the hash browns could have been cooked longer for a nice crisp on them; Tamales Chicken & Pork these were great, they had lots of flavor and were moist, the pork won over the chicken but that's not to say the chicken wasn't good, we really liked that they had bits of potato in them. Overall review, we will absolutely be coming back to Tacos Land! The food was wonderful and made to order, the family who is running the restaurant is very friendly, we love the open concept kitchen so you can see your food being made, you have the option to dine in or take out. I can't wait to see if their menu expands as they gain business and experience, and I have to say you get a real feel of family when you are there. If you like Mexican food give them a try, they are absolutely worth stopping in! Vegetarian options: They have a veggie taco!
My wife and stopped going anywhere else for burritos and tacos! They are that good at Taco Land! You gotta try their freshly made and delicious food! Awesome owners as well!Food: 5/5
Got the party platter and burrito. So much food and very good value. Wings and jalapeño poppers were sooo good. We got their chicken, asada and pastor tacos and they were very authentic and tasty. The protein on the tacos were a bit dry but I think it was because this was a pickup order and it was sitting for a bit before we picked it up. Burrito was also very good for the value! Customer service was great, super friendly and our order was made through clover and everything was correct. I’m so happy to see family owned businesses come to Kent! We will definitely be back to try the breakfast menu!
Tried out this new place next to QFC on Kent Easthill. They have a great variety on the menu and serve breakfast on the weekends. The torta baguette is locally made. The pinto beans were amazing. I loved the fish taco. Give it a try! Parking: Shared parking lot with grocery store on strip mall. Kid-friendliness: Great menu variety.
So excited to have tacos so close to home. Very welcoming environment, good prices, and a good variety of food choices. We had the asada burrito and adobada w/pineapple enchiladas with chips and salsa. Chips are homemade! And the salsa is perfectly spicy! They do have two varietys regular and spicy but I would take an option to have one or the other, instead of getting both in the basket. The burrito was delicious, the beans and rice were very flavorful. Enchiladas could use a little more filling and maybe a little more sauce, my beans had more cojita cheese then the tortillas so hopefully the kinks get smoothed out as they get more comfortable. But the meat and flavors were all fantastic. Super excited to try the breakfast menu, tacos, and wings! Will definitely be a regular. Can't wait for the frescas.
We were so excited for this place to open and managed to catch it on the first day! We picked up food to take home street tacos, kids meal quesadilla and burrito. Everything was so delicious we went back the next day for lunch. The prices fair, portions good, staff was super nice. My favorite was the fish taco and their salsa! I hope they sell it by the jar one day. Food came out a little slow but I think that's just because it's their opening weekend. We will absolutely be back. Pictures are the fish/street tacos we took home and the fish tacos in person.
