These folks are really nice and Dr. Camp seems to know his stuff, but the wait times are totally unreasonable, to the point of anger. I'm generally pretty patient, and expect a little wait at a doctors office, but these guys shouldnt even bother making appointments. The first time I came for a routine eye exam. When making the appointment I told the girl I had to be out in an hour, and if that wasnt enough time I would prefer to book a different day. She said it would be no problem. I showed up 15 min early and reminded them of the time constraint. I waited a full hour and had to leave without being seen. I was told I could come back that afternoon at 2:30. When I came back I waited 15 minutes, then I was put in the exam room. Another 45 minutes before the doctor actually came in to see me. He then dilated my eyes, left the room, and didnt return. After 30 minutes I proceeded to leave, and asked the receptionist if they value their patients time at all, at which time the doc finished my exam, and apologized for the delay. My next two appointments were 30-45 minute waits, with multiple 20-30 minute waits once in the exam room with the Doc coming and going. While sitting in the waiting room I heard people checking in with the same appointment times. Clearly this practice double books appointments without a care for patients time or schedule. I could literally drive to Reno, see the doctor, and drive home in less time than it takes to try and support this local business. Overall, a competant practice that leaves much to be desired with regard to scheduling and efficiency.
