The food was amazing - we had falafel, hummus, chicken shawarma, chicken kabob, and ground beef kabob. The owner is also super friendly! Highly recommend.
My favorite hummus spot no Other place has better hummus ! Also the chicken shawarma plate is soooo delicious. This was my boyfriend/best friends favorite spot he has passed on but i love coming here. Makes me feel closer to his spirit Vegetarian options: Gluten free substitutes-cucumber
Although I still haven’t found a shawarma that tastes like the real deal in the Middle East, Tak Grill takes the cake for shawarmas in San Diego. I’ve tried shawarma wraps at over a dozen location in San Diego and this on is my favorite. Try it with fries!
Not so good Gyros, I mean its not horrible but nothing extraordinary as others that I tried. Gyros in pita had so much cabbage that I throw away. Space its not like restaurants that u can eat inside. Service so so, not rude just not friendly enough
Food was delicious, and the portions were huge. Had a bit of a wait, but it was very busy, so not too bad considering. Very fresh and tasty, totally worth waiting for. I had thy leftovers for lunch the next day and they were still delicious! The gyro was especially good.Takeout: Yes
The Chicken Schwarma, The Gyros are hands down fantastic here! I travel for food all over San Diego and I cant say enough about this deliciousness establishment right in La Mesa. Tell me why the fries are the best here!!!! like seriously! I don't even care much about Hummus and their home made hummus is addicting. The apple walnut salad...went very nicely with my chicken Kebab meal which included flavorful rice!..the chicken was moist bursting with flavor... best I ever had. huge portions btwI really cant say enough about this place. you need to try it for yourself.
Delicious and fresh! I come here more than I probably should. Just look at this beautiful salad, they even plate it fancy!
The food is pretty decent but the portions seem to be getting smaller while the prices have gone up. I expect more for a $15-20 lunch

Great Mediterranean food! Super fresh and flavorful. The overall aesthetic left something to be desired… and the wait time was a bit long for how few people were in that afternoon. But worth the wait!
