very fast service. the subway trains look like they are brand new

The service was awful. There's a $20 cover charge and the food and drinks are expensive. I waited almost an hour for wings and fries! And it wasn't because of the crowd. .there was no crowd. I used to go there years ago when it was a jazz club and there was always a crowd . You had to park a block away sometimes. But nobody cared because the music,the food, the service was great! There was no cover charge. .just a 2 drink minimum. And the food and drinks were affordable. We were in the "VIP" section..what a joke! They put a huge container of ice on the table and twisted the top off a bottle of wine and set it in the huge container of ice. There were also glasses on the table. .they didn't match. The glass they advertise no longer exists. I wanted shrimp. .they didn't have that either. I asked to speak to a manager. .he never came. I won't be coming back to this takoma station and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone .

Service both ways was on time & good quality

Above ground metro station with meter parking and buses out front. No mass public parking makes it a real downer but as far as station goes, it's nice. Metro train system on the other hand needs to shape up.
