The stars say it all. This is a great place to come relax and get great food. The service is absolutely wonderful. Staff are very honest about food recommendations and what would be best to satisfy patrons' palate. The portions are hearty and the food is truly amazing. Best of all, the pricing is more than fair for what you get. Kudos to Tam Commons Tap Room. We will definitely be back.

I wasn't impressed with their facility. I ordered the popcorn chicken because it was recommended from someone I met at another restaurant, but their lack of decent sauce for it left little to be desired.  Only having one place to order also sucks because there was a line and had to wait to order.  I was craving items of theirs that was posted online but they didn't carry them anymore.  Needles to say, it was a very disappointing visit.

Nice cool spot on a hot day. Looking around, there are 15 people besides me, mostly paired up and drinking just beer on a Monday just after lunchtime. Good vibes! I mention this because I honestly thought getting good service would be simple. I sat down, glanced at the bar and noticed the bartender was chatting with a patron and pouring a beer. Great, she’d be over in no time. Ten minutes later, I approached the bar and asked for a menu. Five minutes later, I again approached the bar to place my order: Brussels sprouts and a beer. The food came out quickly but is honestly burnt. I like a crispy Bsprout, so I don’t hate them.  Besides dropping the food off, staff has not approached me. Be prepared to do a lot of walking if you like I were hoping to get buried in computer work and order a few brews throughout the day. I’ll be seeking another place after I finish what I have. I probably won’t return. First impressions matter.

Made reservations here to watch the basketball playoffs before heading out to the theater. From what I remember,  ordered sweet potato fries, wings, sausage, fish tacos, and  brussel sprouts. All DELICIOUS! I'm not a beer drinker but everyone else in my party was happy with their beers. Great, friendly service and multiple TVs to enjoy the game. They also have outdoor seating if you're not interested in the game.

So happy we found this awesome bar/restaurant. The staff was great and always attentive. The atmosphere was super cool and had a great local vibe. Had heard that they served special IPAs and good food, the food was even better and had some very original plates. You order at the counter and from there you can check out their extensive beer selections.  All types of beers on tap and none disappointed. Can't wait to come back with more friends and share this hidden gem! How did I not come here sooner! Keep up the great work Tam! If you find yourself in this city, you guys gotta drop in for a few. Won't disappoint.  Kid-friendliness: Had food kids could share and seating was open and available. Separate from the bar area. Outside eating area also. Dog friendly with exterior seating.

First time visiting this place , it was a Sunday evening. Ordered my hard cider & was enjoying the space w a friend. The establishment states that it is open until 2200 on Sundays so I ordered my second drink to be indirectly at 2143 asked to leave by turning all the lights off because we were the only two people left & staff was basically waiting for us to leave. If you had come up and said something, we are trying to get out of here tonight a little bit earlier, I would have respected that, but turning your lights without a word. Not cool.  CC accepted

This place is dope! Many beers to choose from. Appears to be a full bar. They have food, but we didn’t partake. Service was excellent and the staff are chill. Interesting group of customers. Definitely check it out!

A great place in San Rafael to hang out to watch sports or even just to hang out with friends and co-workers. The service and the selection of beers, cocktails and spirits are great. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Food selections and taste are good.Food: 3/5

My first time here and it was fantastic. Solid beer selection beer & wine only, onion rings were great, many TV's,  not too busy Saturday afternoon. My concern is that when it gets busy there might be acoustic problems, but they did have some acoustic panels. Seating is casual and staff was helpful.

I had a kids burger , as i cannot eat big portIons . This burger was not good . It was probably frozen before cooked, red liquid was on the bun . It was so inedible, i threw it away in their trash bin . It came with fries . They were fine . The service was very good . But make a hamburger Correctly ! Ill never order food from here except the fries .
