Ok...brought in my favorite pair of Chacos sandals to get the soles glued.
Omg-the owner was in a rush, grabbed them from me & took my $.
Came back a week later to pick them up...they had moved the straps @ glued them all down! I couldn't even get my shoes on:(
Brought them back-after another week they were "fixed"/not...straps all torn up!Sad I just didn't buy glue & fix them myself-

Upon a friend's recommendation, I took a pair of sandals and Rick resoled them beautifully. I noticed after I got home that there was a black shoe polish smudge on them. I took them back to him and, no questions asked and at no charge, he apologized and cleaned them up for me. I read another reviewer comments who said he was rude. He is not rude at all. He is sarcastic and playful but that's a personality. He's not faking it for the South Tampa crowd. He does great work at a pretty quick turnaround and very reasonable prices.

He was very professional. Replaced the heels, polished the suede and reglued the insoles on my booties while I waited. All for a great price.

stars all the way!  My favorite heals from the SJP collection had been discontinued and I didn't want to exchange them for a different pair from Nordstrom's.  They told me about Reick and he went above and beyond to fix the broken link and find two matching stones for ones that had fallen out.  He even took them to a jeweler to tighten all the other stones in the chain. Thank you again Rick and you are forever my "go to" guy!
