Super fun bar tucked away in a shopping plaza full of unique places to visit. This place definitely has a local hometown feel and has a ton of TVs to catch every single football, hockey or baseball game on. The space is really well designed and the outdoor patio is dog friendly. The bartenders are amazing, super fast and friendly. The wings!!!!  I was extremely impressed with the wings as they were lightly breaded and extremely crispy. The medium sauce was perfectly tangy and had just amount of heat to not leave my mouth on fire. Don't judge the place by the outside because it really is a fantastic bar to grab lunch, a beer or a few, and a game.

We order food from the Tampa Tap Room last night. I was in the mood for a hamburger, but not that frozen stuff if you know what I mean. I wanted to be able to taste the flavors of ground beef, maybe some flame, and a non-bland taste when I bit into the burger.  So, we decided to give Tampa Tap Room a shot. We called in our order for pick-up. Honestly, we had a bit of a challenge finding the Tampa Tap Room and the green and white lightening didn't stand out to us, so we ended up calling and found it tucked away next to the golf shop. We parked and walked through the breezeway of restaurants and picked up the food. It was cool to see a restaurant filled with pool tables.  Back to the food. We ordered two well done burgers and an order Old Bay Wings. I must say the food was delicious. My teenager basically inhaled the burger before I could finish mine, lol. The wings were also on point. There are a lot of burger places in Tampa and we've tried many of them; however, Tampa Tap Room has to be on the 1-5 list of best burgers in the area.  I highly recommend the Tampa Tap Room; especially when it's getting late. A lot of places seem to close around 8:30pm - 9:00pm on Friday, so your hands can get tied when trying to find something to eat that won't make you sick. And how about those days where you spend a decent amount of money to be let down! That's where you'd be like, "I should have just gone to McDonald's.". Thankfully, the Tampa Tap Room will not let you down. Give it a shot....

Oh WOW! new owners new look more light more inviting excellent service if you were a past guest you must come and see the new look you will be impressed as I was. No more smell l! Really! The floors are going to be redone, bathrooms all redone. WOW I was taken a back. Please please come on down.

Walked in to eat on a Friday at about 730 and this place was near dead. Large footprint, two pool tables and two dart boards. Lots of TVs on a long bar. The probelm: this place has an awful odor, noticeable immediately. Couldn't take it, and walked out. Might be decent place if there were more people, but early evening atmosphere made me think it won't survive long term. Not enough patrons. But maybe I'm wrong and it picks up later at night. The other problem with the complex not a knock on Tap Room is the parking. Awful. Whoever at the county signed off on this complex with publix and all the other businesses I hope no longer has that job because it's immediately obvious there's totally inadequate spaces.

Wow, what an amazing update to the TTR! Jenna and her team have transformed it into a welcoming sports pub, complete with a variety of beverages, a solid menu, and friendly staff. Our new locals place!Recommended dishesBurgers, Chicken Wings

Was craving gumbo and found this little gem in my neighborhood on Google. The gumbo is wonderful and I look forward to ordering more items from the menu and Tammy makes an awesome Green Tea Shot too!!!

Great place been going here since 2008! Friendly neighborhood bar with Cajun cuisine attached and great wings! They have a full bar with draft beer and good cocktails  There is also and outdoor space you can hang and dog friendly! Norm the owner is welcoming to everyone, Tampa Tap will always have a place in my heart!

Gabe and Jessie  are  the best bartenders I’ve ever seen. They are personable and energetic. They are excited to serve and make it an experience. They have made me a regular. Will return

I got such a laugh from some of these ridiculous reviews and applaud the owner for their response to them all. I had to give this place a try and finally, finally, finally, some good wings! My partner and I have tried numerous places and we were so happy when we bit into out wings! Thank you! Definitely will be back!
