Nice place, started as a food truck and now a full brick and mortar restaurant. I had a carne asada quesadilla meat was good. Cheese just lacked flavor. Good salsas.Food: 4/5
Food was alright. Wish they added more veggies like tomatoes and lettuce to their dishes. If you dine in, a robot brings you your food.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Normally visit their food truck for Birria Tacos which are incredible. Tried the store front and got the asada tacos, which come as 4 small street type tacos. Meat had great flavor and the taco sauce was really good as well. Update, got tacos again this time one with shrimp, one asada, and one with al pastor. Shrimp was best, asada second, al pastor was dry and chewy. Beans were ok.
I should have left a review a while ago…I love this place. I will admit I was not a fan of tacos until I had theirsYou can tell they always use fresh ingredients in the dishes and Fresca. Oh did I mention the Agua Fresca is delicious.. many different flavors. You can get a slight discount if you use their app. The shrimp tacos are so yummy, carne asada too…
I highly recommend Taqueria Chavez, DT takes a bit since it's made fresh, so go with enough time to spare. I suggest the quesabirria with consome, quesadilla and shrimp nachos!Food: 5/5
First time visiting this restaurant since they opened. We waited for someone to take our order over the intercom, the girl never replied to our request to place our order. We had to do self order at the drive thru. I ordered the Torta lunch plate, it was was okay, beans were flavorless no salt! Rice had a bad smell and a weird taste it also seemed burnt. Disappointed but this is what I expected when people turn a great food truck onto a restaurant, the quality always goes down and prices go up which is understandable since overhead is much more. I just wish these vendors would stay small and keep the quality high. Won't return.
Used to look forward to coming to the restaurant, now it’s just a joke. There’s a note at the door telling you to wait to be greeted although no one came for 20 minutes. Saw that they were short staffed so we ordered at the counter and half of the menu items online weren’t on the screen. Placed the order and had to grab our own cups for our drinks, proceeded to go to soda fountain where each soda was clearly out as they all ran clear because the soda boxes obviously have not been changed. Went and sat back down to wait for our food and the girl that brings our food places our food on the table without saying a single thing before walking away. Would like to hope that it gets better but I do not have my expectations high.
This was our second time we tried to give it a second chance since our first time we didn’t like the food but we thought hey maybe they improved in their food tasting and no. First bite in and i am sorry but the birria tacos didn’t even have no flavor like at all didn’t taste good it was burnt i didn’t enjoy my meal . I give it 2/10 not worth the price i regret paying for something that i couldn’t eat.
Great place to eat.. Great modern, clean, atmosphere, you order, and pay at a touchscreen, no pressure, there is someone to ask if you have questions about the menu, grab a number and take a seat, they bring your order out to you, food is great, good portions, and so fresh. Will definitely come back, a must try!
Surprisingly tasty food from a new face on the food scene! Old style traditional taste of abuela's cooking with the fun new school twists of a food truck! Quality, tasty, filling food. Beans and rice varied on different visits but overall good Kid-friendliness: Great tasty options for the kiddos who aren't ready for traditional spicy taste of taqueria's normal menu
