Love love love the food. It was worth it to drive 40 miles just to taste the delicious food again. It’s a cozy restaurant with awesome staff. Would definitely recommend.
Got takeout.chicken f l a u t u s, chicken burrito, 1 eight oz,guacamole, 1,side rice and beans, 1 xtra,chips, 1 eight oz. Salsa . Ordered online at 4 pm for 5:15 pick up . They did not seem busy at all at 5:15 p.m. pick up time.i drove home with order, they forgot the eight oz of salsa in the takeout bag and the guacamole which was $6.50 did not taste like it was freshly made like it says in the menu. It tastes like those jars you get at the grocery store that have preservatives added. The salsa was quite watery that I got in the little side container. The main food was okay, but the chicken cubes were dried out and overcooked that were in the burrito. A score of 6 out of 10 is what I will give it for the food. Yes, just "okay ".
Taqueria La Estrella is always a win. My daughter's found this gem and my husband and I enjoy our experience every time. Food seems authentic. We enjoy the flavor of the salsa & chips when we 1st arrive. We have had a variety of selections, our last visit we both enjoyed Burritos bowls, chorizo & pork. Our server suggested a Virgin Mango Margarita & I had a delicious cucumber drink.

I only had chips a beer and a pork carnitas burrito and cupldnt stop eating this beautiful I actually only had half so I wouldn't go into a coma. This is what I remember in San Clemente CA at this place we called the blue porch because there was no sign and I've been chasing that taste for almost 20 years. I did replicate it myself but this is the first on the east coast to be that good at a resteraunt. Very pleasant welcoming and to suprise me like that was awesome! I still can't believe it. Thank you !!! Vegetarian options: I don't believe there was lard in the beans so you can do anything here.
I've dinned in sweet and attentive staff,.warm atmosphere but their take out is truly exceptional. Packaged with care our food tasted just as good at home. We've enjoyed their to-go margaritas with enchiladas suicas, chicken flautas and churros at home. All with tiny packaged sauces, food still crunchy and full of flavor. As a couple with young children being able to enjoy beautifully delicious food at home after bedtime is what our current date night dreams are made of. Go, you won't be disappointed.
Food was really great, the whole family enjoyed it including the kids. The service was great and the food was fresh. The tres leches dessert was also great.
Visited Taqueria La Estrella for the first time tonight. I’m not sure what I expected but my expectations have been blown away. I’m a huge taco fan and they really bring super authentic tacos to Milford! If you think you’ll get a hard shell or big flour tortilla you’ll be in for a little surprise. Authentic tacos are usually made with smaller soft corn tortillas. Estrella delivers on those perfectly, balancing the consistency and flavor to pair perfectly with whatever meat you order inside! The meats are incredibly flavorful. So far I tried the steak, pastor a pork, chorizo, and shrimp. Each one shined with its own savory flavors. Topped with cilantro and onion, and add either their hot or mild salsa... Perfect. Service and staff was super friendly. Lots to pick from on the menu, I definitely suggest to try out some different things! If your interested in real good authentic tacos and such, stop in and try it!
Well wanted to try someplace new, maybe all the reviewers on here eat in but DO NOT get take out over70 dollars spent and most I the trash. The fried plantains should be called burnt plantains see pic, the burrito has so much moisture in it the tortilla was breaking downsee pic,the chips on my wife's nachos were grease covered like they were not well drained and one of the bags of chips is translucent from the grease see pic. Buyer beware in this case you don't get what you pay for.
I went here twice in a row because it was that good. I had the Steak Tacos with no onions [be warned, it states on the menu it comes with Cilantro and Onions - so if you don't like something; you need to state that when you order] The Tacos came on two hot fresh tortillas and it tasted incredible. Simple but so delicious. I got a side of Guac with chips. The Guac was so fresh. Pop of lime broke through and it was so good. I haven't tried anything else on the menu because I am so satisfied with my Steak Tacos! Staff was friendly and greeted me in Spanish which I loved. I know minimal so it was nice to have a brief "hi good afternoon how are you" conversation. She immediately asked how my meal was yesterday and we engaged in some friendly chat. Such nice people. I will be back for lunch for sure.
