Woooo! This taco truck is BOMB! We came here for birria tacos & ordered so much more. I put in a to go order for asada fries, chicken burritos, & a corn. We sat outside and ate our birria tacos & asked for the broth to dip & it set it all the way off! The corn is topped with red pepper flakes so if you're sensitive to heat let her know & they'll not add them. We also ordered jimaica to drink. Im super happy with this spot & will give them my biz anytime in in the area.
I am torn writing this review. I love the tacos here. Their al pastor is the juiciest, most delicious taco I have ever had. They have taco Tuesday and it is quite cheap. As such, their food truck is unsanitary. My husband and I had severe food poisoning here. Since that incident, we have not been back. I miss their tacos but won't risk getting sick again.
Really easy true Mexican food right next to the library - the portions are huge! The prices are very reasonable - they also have kids food itemsFood: 5/5
Delicious! I had the fish tacos and the fish was crispy and the cabbage and tomato were fresh. The chicken enchiladas were also great. There was a man singing Mexican folk songs when I went and if they sold beer I would’ve stayed lol
The food is amazing, authentic real Mexican food and they take debit/credit cards! Free beans, salsa, and cabbage appitizzers to the side of the window. Service is wonderful and the food is really made with love.
Really enjoyed our lunch from here! The menu has many great choices including menudo, posole verde, birria which are not very common finds for food trucks! I had the enchiladas rancheras which were topped off with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and queso fresco! The tortillas were crispy on the edges which is great because most enchiladas are soggy yuck! The rice and beans were both flavorful! Portion was just right, prices were good too! Also ordered 2 carne asada tacos and a Al Pastor burrito, both fully loaded with meat! Usually I’ve found that taco trucks really load up burritos with more beans/rice instead of meat.
No even close to the quality and attention to detail that Potrillo 6 always has. These are not careful. Burnt dry meat and sausage instead of shrimp for number 15? If it's called a "potrillo," consistency is expected.
We had the Cartnitas and also the chicken Burrito plate. The food was excellent. Very friendly service as well!
The food is always amazing. The service is impeccable.Food: 5/5
dollar 1.25 tacos on Tuesday. Gone here every Tuesday for about 2 years now. More people definitely learning the secret at this point as it’s becoming popping. For a dollar they’re pretty damn good. For 1.25 they’re pretty good. Edit: knew this place was becoming oversaturated, prices have now gone up and the quality has been going consistently down. Reason I’ve lowered the score is that for legitimately 2 years I have gone here once a week on Tuesday, always calling in my order prior to arriving, always the same order - I also have a pretty distinct voice. Every time I arrive, the same woman that has taken my order is at the window, and every time she doesn’t know what I’ve ordered so I tell her. I have to be very specific, she just doesn’t remember who I am, and it’s a large order I always leave a tip on. Now, out of nowhere the prices have gone up, I place my order on the phone and don’t receive the courtesy of being told of the price increase. A while ago, a similar thing happened, I ordered a large quantity of a specific type of taco, only to arrive and be told that they were totally out. Not a single one - but I didn’t receive a call back or anything, just got told after my 25 minute drive. The foods alright and cheap but a language barrier is no excuse for poor customer service after multiple years. Communication goes a long way.
