Walked in around 8pm , ordered 6 asada tacos, michelada and one cabeza mulita. The carne asada was average and had big chunks of meat which looked like meat balls and the Michelada was also average . The mulita on the other hand was real greasy. I held it and grease just kept pouring out . I had to return it and get my money back . Total was $38 for everything. Unfortunately I won’t be coming back .
The birria tacos are the best in that area. Perfect amount of onion, cilantro, and beef in the tacos. Dine in for chill vibes or take to go and still receive great tacos with a tiny cup of consome. The quesobirria is good but not as great as the tacos. The horchata and nina fresa drink taste homemade and go perfectly with the tacos here. They have specials on different weekdays so try something new when you stop by!
Too expensive, a coke and horchata $5 each. Food was decent, but no way we are going back, two drinks, 1 quesadilla and 1 torta $34, and if you pay with a credit card they charge you an extra 4%, the least they can do is to inform you before they charge you. I’m able to find the same average food at our local Taqueria for significantly less money. Nice looking place, too pricey, it might explain why we were only 4 customers at lunch time on a Saturday.
Food was delicious. Great flavor. They have a lot of different plates and specials during the week. Place was very clean. They did take a while to make the food and it wasn’t even that busy. We tried the tacos de barbacoa and a carnitas gordita. Would recommend.Dine in: Yes
All of the guisados are excellent. Not your basic stuff that's in most Mexican restaurants. Don't be shy to try the not so common stuff. Like I said all of the guisados are full of flavor and very juicy. Margaritas with the food is the way to go. Unfortunately the food was so good that we forgot to take a picture of all our food, but trust me it looked and taste was on point. Vegetarian options: Tacos de Papa with their green salsa & tacos de Raja we're very yummy, simples pero con buen sazón!
Best place to eat some good birria around the los Angeles are I really recommend this place 10 out 10Food: 5/5
Tried this restaurant for the first time today with my family and absolutely love it. The food was delicious! Definitely would recommend this place.
Love this place. The potato tacos are amazing. The salsa de tomate is a must. Tuesday & Friday the potato tacos are only $1.25. If you go between 1pm-6pm it's happy hour so on a Tuesday or Friday for only $10 you can get 4 potato tacos & a Michelada. So good.Food: 5/5
The food here was vary good. The service is also great. It is a little pricey for tacos but it is worth it.
Love the Chilaquiles in red sauce, hate the scrap of metal fiber I found though... This place is relatively new located in Downey Gateway. Their food is decently priced, the location is centric, the atmosphere is cute with it's indoor/ outdoor set up, the cashier was nice, and their wait time is acceptable. I placed a to go order and only had to wait 10 minutes. They charge $1 to pay with card. The Chilaquiles in red sauce are mildly spicy and green sauce is the wimpy alternative. But I'm sure they're equally as delicious. Unfortunately I can't do 5 stars because there was a literal metal sponge fiber embedded in the Chilaquiles please see pictures. I am not nitpicky so of course I finished my food, I didn't call to complain because fortunately I caught it and I really didn't have time to go back in my 30 minute lunch window. Other than that will definitely try again.
