Great place and awesome staff. The food was amazing and delicious. I had the chicken with the mixed vegetables and apricot and prune sauce and my son had the lamb with pomegranate molasses. We also had the lamb meatballs for an appetizer. We enjoyed everything immensely. I feel the only thing they could do without was the led strip lights that changed color. It took away from the beautiful decor that was there already. Definitely a must try for this area.
Moroccan spice blends hold a special place in my heart, and Tara did not disappoint. I ordered the lamb with honey, apricots, prunes, and almonds. The balance of sweet and savory was pure perfection. The red sangria was a fantastic compliment to the meal. I was stuffed, but still ordered the baklava because after that main dish I knew it would also be exquisite, and was correct. Many gluten free and vegetarian options are on their menu. This is a must stop location.
Loved the food at Tara's Kitchen and the customer service was top notch. Very friendly! They welcomed us and explained the unique parts of the menu so that we could make an informed choice. Very willing to help, answer questions, and cracking jokes all the while. The other guests clearly loved their food too- so much so that the couple next to us made welcome recommendations. Everything was delicious! They have gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and nut-free. If you get the chance, try the lamb! So savory and flavorful. It's a small place, but they serve groups, couples and individuals. They also take reservations. 5 Stars! Will definitely go again!
Me and my boyfriend loved our dishes. The rice was particularly good. I loved how the food was served in cast iron plates; it really kept the food nice and hot throughout the meal and enhanced the flavors as well. I loved having authentic Moroccan food in Wildwood. It really maintains its authenticity while fitting right in with the Wildwood scene. Perfect. Great music and excellent service too. Would definitely recommend!
Wow! So delicious! I had a lamb dish LAMB WITH HONEY, PRUNES, APRICOTS, ALMONDS & A TOUCH OF HARISSA and it was awesome. So flavorful. The interior is really nice, great staff and nice music. BYOB
The food was good, except for baklava which was dry without any sweetness. I've enjoyed one of the lamb dishes, very unique and flavourful with a nice touch of spices, presentation was beautiful too. The main concern was the server, he tried to be nice, but was not on point, didn't help with the menu which was hard to understand, because it had literally 50 options, and was new for me, kept forgetting simple requests, and didn't clear anything from the table between courses. The tea service was really awkward, he brought soup spoons when we asked for spoons, and no sugar, honey or lemons were offered. I would only order take out next time.
It was our 1st time eating Morrocan food and they were amazing!!! Flavor was delicious.The food portion was on point.
A friend recommended this place and we finally had a chance to stop in for dinner. We enjoyed a wonderful meal starting with the lamb meatball appetizer and then we enjoyed a chicken and lamb dishes for dinner such flavors!. The waiter was attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We will definitely return before the restaurant closes for the season!
Delicious! I got the mixed veggie tagine with figs & spicy date sauce - such a perfect balance of sweet and spicy and there was such a mix of wholesome veggies! Rice was perfectly cooked. Customer service was excellent!! We did takeout but next time would love to dine in because it is so beautifully decorated inside. Also their menu clearly labels vegan/dairy/nut/gluten/soy free etc which makes navigating food allergies super easy! Definitely recommend!!
A wonderful experience from start to finish. My girlfriend and I tried Tara's Kitchen for the first time this year. We intended to try it last year but didn't get around to it. We made it a priority to eat here this year and we are glad we did. The service was great and the food was amazing. The flavors were fantastic! The food was filling and we both enjoyed our dishes. It will now become a annual dinner for our vacation. It's great to have Moroccan food in Wildwood now!
