I ask for a particular item today and was happy to see if the floor associate can help me. I was giving a very poor customer service experience. She looked annoyed and rush me off quickly. It made me feel not value as a customer so I order the item on a competitor site on my cell phone.

There has been a significant change in the target on sanfor d blvd in mount Vernon from the moment I walked in 2 weeks ago I felt the difference before I saw the difference if you get what I mean. The shelves are stocked, neat the staff appears happy their customer service has improved immensely and all the staff appears to work as part of the team, you can certainly see and fell the changes. I literally had to ask if the management changed. I saw an employee stocking the shelves and i decided to let him know what a great job they are doing in the store for unbeknownst to me I was speaking to the new manager of the store for the last 2 months.

I will say I was not expecting much from this target especially for the neighborhood it is in. I had an overall good experience from the returns desk where I also paid for my items as well as searching in the aisles for stuff. They didn’t have doggie toothbrushes - they were sold out - but they had most everything else I was looking for. I came in yesterday around 6-7pm and the black young lady at returns was absolutely wonderful. I won’t hesitate to return to this location.

Target was busy for back to school. It was surprising that it was so neat. I love that. Plenty of help and pretty quick to check out.

Went into this location & was going to purchase a pack of Sour Gummy Bears. The signage (as well as the setup of the stocking of the brand, just different flavors) gave the impression that the item was $1.09. When me & my boyfriend were having our groceries rung up, there was not a price on the bag of Gummy Bears when scanned. My boyfriend informed the cashier (a young, slender, African-American guy with waves in his hair) that the sign indicated the price was $1.09. When he entered the price, a short, African-American woman by the name of Gina sharply told us, "Those are not a dollar. They're $1.79". We informed her that was what the sign indicated & she literally begins to march over to the aisle while shouting (in a curt, EXTREMELY rude manner), "I'm gonna go check". While we're still being rung up, we were informed by a heavyset Hispanic woman with blonde hair & heavy makeup that the price was $1.69. She told us that the $1.09 price point was for their generic brand (which wasn't anywhere near the brand that we originally wanted), not for the name brand. I decided to take the initiative to go & take a photo (granted, I should have done that, but nonetheless...). I snapped a photo (all the while avoiding Gina's (who had REALLY upset both of us because of her unnecessary behavior) dirty look at me of the actual stand where the brand name Gummy Bears were set up on the selling floor. Being as someone who has worked in retail for over 11 years, I very rarely think that "the customer is right"-especially if they are being curt & dismissive the way Gina was. In this case, I honestly think the customer (me & my boyfriend, who spent almost $200.00 in purchases) should not have been spoken to like that in such a manner to the point that one is provoked to writing such a lengthy complaint. In this case, they should have recognized their errors & instead of having the customer walk back to the section of the selling floor to bring back proof (Seriously?? A customer needs to point out a flaw that was not their wrongdoing???), they should have accommodated us by just simply adjusting the price-especially if we're spending almost $200.00 in groceries & such. If that was also the case, the correct signage should have been on display & CORRECT brand should have been on display there. This is considered misleading & the mere fact that not only were we spoken to in such a nasty, manner, we also were not accommodated the way that customers should have been accommodated. This kind of behavior from an employee is unacceptable (especially over something as miniscule as several cents that easily could have been adjusted due to the flaws of the party/parties that setup the display.). If this is how Gina reacts to customers (rude, dismissive & uninformative, contradicting with a pompous, prickly disposition), then perhaps this line of work is not cut out for her.
